Once you dial that code, your accounts with GTB will be locked. And no one will be able to carry out any transaction on the account.
The code can be used on any phone using any Nigerian network free.
If you want to unlock your account later, just call their CC or visit any of their branches. Shikena.

Exactly my thought... especially when the phone(particularly the sim) is stolen. Best thing is to first enable pin code on your sim and go to bank to lock the account if anything happens.
