Christianity is not a Religion, it's the Way of Life; the Way of eternal Life. John 14:6. The major reason why we are on Earth is to earn immortality from our Creator, never lose focus of that. Inability to wait on our CREATOR has made many humans to turn to witches, satanism, demon worshipers, etc. HE has vowed that HE would make those that love HIM, beyond ego and physical reward of this temporary life, to live forever. To prove that we shall not turn our back against HIM when HE transforms us to immortal nature, we must do what the Father of Faith did. He waited on GOD till he was 99 years old. He was even still waiting even when all his friends and foes have turned him to a laughing stock. Now, generations before us, our own generation and generations yet to be born shall forever continue to celebrate him for never giving up on our Creator. Very possible that Abraham was not the first to pass through the test among Humanity, but he was the very first to pass the test of loving God more than personal desire and ego. Desire to show off success and impress people has turned many against their wonderful Creator.

How do we ensure that we don't lose focus or get carried away by discouragement during the course of waiting on God? It's by always reminding ourselves that this Life is very real, satan is real, God is real, eternal Life that awaits us is real and by filling our minds with HIS Words that strengthens us. One thing that has been found to be inestimably useful is the act of listening to real Christian songs that presents deep word of God in melodious format. This has helped many to groom and maintain the trait of our father of Faith in the face of trials and waiting on the Lord. Scripture says Faith cometh by hearing the Word of God. Have you been praying for so long and it seems God has not answered? I was in your shoes, it could be very frustrating. I later got to know that it is an essential part of Christian journey called the "Wilderness Experience". Most Pastors have not been fair to us as regards this stage of Christian growth. They preached what made us think that once we accept JESUS into our lives, everything is gonna be rossy life and goodygoody. Before the Crown came the cross. Word of God says "fire shall try your works/faith" Jesus said "in this world you shall suffer tribulation. But be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world." So, count that waiting/suffering time joy. Are you passing through a problems or trial of life that make it seems that God does not answer your prayer, this song really helped me sometimes ago when a friend offer to take me to a Herbalist because of the serious problem that I was passing through.

When God doesn’t answer your prayers, it should become clear that he is nonexistent. Christians with terminal cancers and ALS all ended up dead, do you think they didn't pray? Did they not need God more than yourself? Why then must it be you that gets your prayers answered?

When you pray and God doesn't answer, you get off your knees, rise to your feet, and get busy doing productive things. Nothing fails like prayer and prayer is the most useless activity that has stayed with mankind for many thousands of years.
