Have you been praying for so long and it seems God has not answered? I was in your shoes, it could be very frustrating. I later got to know that it is an essential part of Christian journey called the "Wilderness Experience". Most Pastors have not been fair to us as regards this stage of Christian growth. They preached what made us think that once we accept JESUS into our lives, everything is gonna be rossy life and goodygoody. Before the Crown came the cross. Word of God says "fire shall try your works/faith" Jesus said "in this world you shall suffer tribulation. But be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world." So, count that waiting/suffering time joy. Are you passing through a problems or trial of life that make it seems that God does not answer your prayer, this song really helped me sometimes ago when a friend offer to take me to a Herbalist because of the serious problem that I was passing through.

God bless you sir. I just started seeing signs of gradually leaving my own wilderness episode and it was frustrating but I can now see in hindsight the reason the Holy Spirit directed me to listen to this song. It really assisted me to keep up my hope and faith on God

Psalms 73 is also a key to getting through a wilderness period particularly one that has elements of self-comparison in it

Prayers are never answered because by praying all you are doing is talking to yourself.

I am scared. I came from a family that no one suceeds, all of the children, great and grand children are not successful. My mum got married into this family, and life was all pain and tears, I'm her first seed, and I am 27, I graduated many 5 years ago, and ever since, I have not been successful, I started seeing what my mother saw since then, no help from any human, I saw her prayed all her life, go to places for deliverance, all my life yet it's all pain, rejection and tears, now I am an adult I'm beginning to beg God, pray nothing is happening same same pain, I'm even begging for death so that I can find peace, to escape all of these yet nothing is happening. Job, no job, business is nothing to write home about, me and my cousins and siblings are going through the same things. Spent money yet no way. I'm scared . No favour, no help, nonsense dreams, on a point, I'm scared. It's as though the earth has no solution

Dear Temitope, seems you just want to blame it all on everyone and everything else, don't you?

The earth has solutions. Just that your mind has to be willing to find and take advantage of whatever it is that is available. With that defeatist mentality wey you carry there, coupled with the fact that you seem to think it should somehow be handed to you. I doubt you will be able to get anywhere soon. I suggest you find the nearest mental health hospital and ask for mental health counseling as you seriously need counseling to help you overcome your attitude toward life and fight for success for yourself.

By the way, God has no hand in any of these things we do here since none of it we do in obedience to His actual Law. So, focus on getting your mind fixed up through mental health counseling or treatment.

Rubbish story! How many of those folks in that video even resemble people wey God don answer their prayers? Abegi!

You see, Scripture states that God does not answer the prayers of the unrighteous; the pleas and requests and every petition, praise, offering, work, plea, sacrifice, etc., of the unrighteous are tainted by their sins(disobedience/unholiness) and are hence an abomination to God. So, what is definite is that even your many pleas for the forgiveness of sins are not answered by God given that God made no special exemptions for that kind of plea. No amount of praying can cause God to change His mind regarding that which concerns the unrighteous by the way. So if you are thinking of prescribing more prayers that only means you really don't understand or know God at all.

God, however, openly bragged about how He only answers the prayers of the righteous; He delights in granting them the desires of their heart meaning that they are those who he loves. For this very reason, Jesus Christ urged His followers to seek first the Kingdom of God and God's Righteousness in order that all things— the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God(holiness), answers to prayers included—shall be added on to them. And as Jesus Christ explained in His Gospel, the only way to become Holy, and then also Righteous, is by way of continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, god's Truth and Law in the Kingdom of god - John 8 vs 31 - 36 & John 14 vs 15 - 23. Jesus Christ is the only way. Obedience to the Truth of God is the one and only path to righteousness. No amount of praying and other religious rituals can accomplish that.

God deals indirectly with the unrighteous, the same way He deals with the unbelievers including the wicked and the ungrateful and that is by pouring out His mercy and kindness on them daily. So every time as an unrighteous you feel that God has answered your prayer know that at that same moment, or moments before that, God also provided the same mercy or similar to someone else across the world — or maybe just across from you— who does not even believe in God, nor asked God for anything. So, if answers from God are what you seek, then do what Jesus Christ said you should, which is to seek first the Kingdom of God(holiness), and then God's righteousness, in order that all these things —the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God(including answers to prayers) can be added to you.
