Not necessary but it is an added advantage if one can speak it. I try to speak the language by speaking with the native people or watching their programs when time permit.

During this lockdown, I have been to Delaware and back(Business trip).

One thing i love about travelling is You get to know places and see different people and their ways of life.

So my Delaware trip took me though Indiana - Ohio - West Virgina - Pennsylvania then to Delaware. I spent my night at Harrisburg, PA.

What actually caught my attention was from Harrisburg PA to Bear Delware, the GPS didnt take me through the highway. The place I took was mainly farmland. People were riding horses as if they were driving car. I was like you buy a horse when u car easily buy a car but I guess that's their way of life. Scary road and some other stuffs .

Its unfortunate this Covid 19 messed things up but that's life. I was unable to make any of my trips but I'm still hopeful I can get some done before the year runs out.

Confirmed trip as at right now
July- Las Vegas
August- Kansas
Sept - Canada/Mexico undecided yet
Dec - Nigeria

Unto Nigeria matter, I guess it is true that no place is like home but then people say home is where you find comfort so I dont know. I have found myself smiling without numbers knowing that days are fast going and we are approaching December again because all things being equal, I'll be on a flight for vacation in Nigeria.

If I have the means, I'll be visiting twice a year. I felt so much joy, relaxed when I visited. I cant really explain the feelings. America is a dream come true, my work place while Nigeria is like my resting place.

I know I'm still coming back home and I have less than 30 years to spend in the US.

In other words, i had an argument with my wife the other day as regards to the way I run things. So my village people wanted to use me and I said " If you think success is about green card, I'll hand it over to you right now angry ". I wanted to hand it over to her until my head came back to factory reset grin cheesy

Enough! Next Post coming up

Working in the US as a hustler.

Kindly note we have different meaning to "hustling". Someone that came to the US, schooled here and working in a corporate organisation is different from someone that came in with B1 visa and the likes and did AOS.. I'm talking about the later.

I actually thought that you guys are caged in. Cooped-up Americans are eager for social interaction and
fun, same as in Nigeria. but it could result in an uptick in
coronavirus cases. it ruined my plans of heading to Wisconsin this fall. already deferred to spring.

Never forget, HOME is where the heart is.
Stay safe!

If you live in the US and you want to experience Nigeria again but you dont have the money to go home, Say no more! Los Angeles is the place to be. You will feel at home. Dem get Ladipo Market , dem get clothing market. Infact the settings is that of Nigeria. No difference grin

There is the clothing market located on the street called Santa Alley or so. Mehn Mehn Mehn. Clothes are so cheap. Face caps goes for low as 3 for $10, Lakers shirt for $4 etc. I wish I had discovered this earlier, I wont have spent much money buying stuffs when I went to Nigeria.

With $200, You Ghana must go bag go full cheesy

Chief, this is good business for some of us in Nigeria o.
I bought Lakers shirt one for 5k, and there, 1 is just 4 dollars, just say 1600. Buying in bulk and shipping to Nigeria won't be a bad business idea if one has a person there to run it.
Even the face cap, 3 for 10 dollars, one here costs as much as 5000 boutique standard and na onitcha market most of them they go charter.

Forget currency purchasing power or exchange rate
I think generally, things are very expensive in Nigeria.

In the US, nothing beats having a very good car. Fixing car is very expensive here and i understand the reasons why people buy brand new car to save themselves from headache.

When you go to a dealership to do oil change, they do full inspection on your car and recommend what is needed to be fixed in your car.

Driving a car is not about driving to work but it has to serve yo for a long time.

Back in Nigeria, I hear all the time "Go and warm the car" but here, go to your car, start and zoom off. So I really wonder where the warming of a car came from. I still dont know the motive behind it

This is what I actually love doing most. Delivering packages for amazon. The base Pay is $18/hr

We have two. Amazon flex and Amazon Prime/Fresh/Restaurants.

The 1st picture and the last picture is how amazon flex looks like. It involves delivery of packages. All you just have to do is schedule the time that works for you, show up at the station, load your packages and drive to deliver them off. One of the advantage is if you know how to arrange your package, for example if u choose a 3hr window, you can deliver as fast as 2hrs 20mins and you still get paid for the whole 3hrs.

If something happen and your delivery exceed 3hrs, let's say 4hrs. The extra hour is over time and u will be paid @ 27$/hr. The thing is you must complete delivery. Amazon also has you convered incase of car accident. Downside is you dont get tips.

The second screenshot showing $33 + tips. Those delivery windows are very short. It's most 2hrs and you delivery groceries/alcohol to people. You get tips alot and once you done, you pick another block and deliver again. You can complete up to 5 deliveries a day and make up to 300$ plus tips in a single day. Amazon pays on Tuesdays and Fridays.

During the winter(snow), 3hrs window delivery can go as high as $120/3hr delivery window

This is Instacart, you do groceries shopping for people and have it delivered to their home.

Personally I dont like it

This is doordash, a food delivery app. You sit at the comfort of your home and order food while we bring it to you. It's one of the way to make extra cash if you are broke, have free time or regular job not paying good. Below was what I did during my lil free time and during my heavy free time due to Covid 19.

I have friends that read my stories here that do it full time. They make nothing less than 800$ weekly and still manage their own time effectively.

Lyft which is the same as Uber has been a life saver when I need to come up with some money real fast. I dont need to stell stories about it as you all already know what is it.

I started driving Lyft March last year heavily and slowed down in October and I made a total $35,000 in 7/8 months while still working other jobs.

5am, I'm out of the house, come back home 10am. Go back out 5pm and come back home 9pm and that's it!

With that being said, there's no reason for people to get involved in yahoo here in the US.

I have met them severally at my shipper's place, badass car, gold chains. Getting the US Visa itself is a stress and after getting it, u decide to do Yahoo mehn!. They cant put money in bank account, they move arround in Cash and when they get caught, then all is gone.

There are always something for u to do here legally and make some money.I made a total of $53,400 btw March and Dec paid taxes of $5000 embarassed

As a hustler(I believe I had already mentioned it), There are so many ways to make money.

I know there are gold digging girls here too but often times, AA girls don't care about the car your driving, as long as you drive and have a job, they good! So why going extra mile to be involved in YY in order to impress/oppress. To what end?

I hustle, taking classes, doing monthly contribution of 300k, $300 weekly and still enjoy my life the lil way I can.

Only lazy people do YY in the US and I heard yahoo boys full Indianapolis as well.

God bless our hustle
