Hello NLders, I've been seriously thinking of switching careers from banking to IT. I'm 29 years. Have worked 5 years in the banking sector but lately I've been losing my vibes for it. I don't see myself in the next 10-15 years happily working in the banking sector. IT piques my interest. Pitfall is, I'm a complete novice here but I'm a fast learner. I understand there are different sections of IT. What are those sections and how long will it take a rookie to learn and catch it? Any advice? Books I should read? Programs I can delve into? Websites? Persons? Anything that will help will be greatly appreciated pls. |
