Hebrews 11:3 New International Version (NIV)

3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

How did God create the universe? He did so by faith, by speaking words filled with faith. Just think about it; everything around you was created by faith: the sun, the moon, the stars, the plants, the animals, the insects, the gases, the waters, the clouds, etc.

Just like God, we can create things by speaking words of faith. This was the dominion God gave Adam and Eve in Genesis 1:26:

"Let us make man in our image....let them have dominion...over all the earth."

God created us in His image to exercise dominance on earth by speaking words full of faith just like He does. I strongly believe the primary way God wants us to dominate all things on earth, including our stubborn problems and enemies, is by speaking faith-filled words.

Believe it or not, everything on earth responds to words spoken in faith. Jesus said this it perfectly in Mark 11:22-23

"Have faith in God...whoever shall say to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart....he shall whatever he says."

Jesus had earlier shown them an example when He spoke to a fruitless fig tree in faith and it dried up. What Jesus was trying to teach the disciples is the fact that we are created in God's likeness and we can speak just like God in faith and get supernatural results.

We are expected to speak words of faith over all finances, family, businesses, jobs, churches, ministries, problems, enemies, etc. This is the primary way God wants us to dominate and succeed in life. God Himself does nothing without speaking out in faith.

Your mouth is not given to you just for eating and talking, it is given for you to exercise dominion by speaking words of faith like God Himself. When we understand how to speak words of faith, we will enter into a new realm of authority and success.

How do we speak words of faith? When we are filled with faith, our words are faith filled. Where does faith come from? By God's Word. So when we are full of God's word, we are full of faith and can speak authoritatively like God.

What are those things you desire to see in your life? Begin to declare them into existence by faith like God spoke light into existence by faith in Genesis 1:3!
