724 billion nairas shared? For a country like Nigeria, that's insignificant. We need to be sharing at least 1.5 trillion a month to make any significant impact. We need to widen the agencies that bring in money to coffers of government. Make them more efficient

Now the money has been shared, let's hope the people we voted from our various wards will do that which they were elected to do. Buhari cannot come down to the LGs to do the work.

What is the best way of holding a seating government official( be it president, house of assembly members, governors, state assembly members e.t.c) accountable on how all these monies are spent? Should we all adopt the IPOB pattern?

the whole Nigeria share just $2b n you say we're rich? Let's put it in perspective can this money fix the infrastructure deficit in just one state? At best its just the wage bill of the entire public workers in the country. The state and the federal government must seek alternative source of funding infrastructure. A lot of companies make more than that monthly and some even have less than 5000 individuals to budget for whearas Nigeria a country of over 200m making that paltry amount. F@k oil we need to invest in technology, encourage innovation, reverse engineering and disruptive tech if we must meet up with the modern demand of public infrastructure.

FG and states were sharing 500,000 b + when Buhari came in 2015 due to recession but now, revenue has increased tremendously.

People should hold their Governors accountable to make sure that the money is judicious utilised to the maximum benefit of the masses.

The money includes VAT, taxes and revenue from other mineral resources that is why Lagos sometimes get the highest allocation from FG

Lets hold our governors accountable. This selective blame on the FG is ruining this country...

Whenever the niger deltans blame the FG and blow up oil installations, more money is given to the oil producing states.....but the money never gets to the people cos the governors n leaders of the region hijack the money......but the people wont blame their precious leaders....never.....

So they blame the FG again and more money is given to the region and the regional leaders hijack it again.....and the cycle continues....

Right now the Niger delta governors get so much allocation that everyone is left dumbfounded......but the people continue to blame the FG instead of their leaders.....

If EFCC picks the governors we will cry witch hunt....infact right now the governors are sooo relaxed. They dont care cos they know they are leading foolish people.....

Nigeria's allocation is shared about 52% to FG and 48% to states. Your state leaders should atleast get half the blame for the unemployment poverty and lack of development in the states

And with the current sharing of political power in the country PDP atleast gets 40percent of the blame allocated to poverty in the states
