Sun laughed in its peak

And licked off my grey hairs

Sweat conceded down my cheek

And find its way to my groove

Alloying with my oral fluid


I toiled the market like town soothsayers

With prayers on my mouth but loads on my head

To have some cents to call mine


But the man in black coat

Beckoned on me

To shell the coins to him

And forced me smile for not hitting me

My head banged like church bell

I harkened back to the task


The man in coat was richer

Well paid to fight crimes

But he robbed me and likes

And spared thieves

He was to guard our coins

But he guard thieves and fat men


He was black with black coat

With black guns and black cap

He was a police with black heart
