We are looking for a qualified Front-End Developer to join our Development Team. You will be responsible for building the 'client-side' of our web applications. You must have a working knowledge of website design and development

You will be a part of the creative technology team, working with designers, merchants & fellow developers, bridging the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. Responsibilities

• Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly, responsive web applications
• Code for mobile-first, as well as for medium and large screens
• Build, maintain and improve web applications
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed
• Collaborate with Back-End Developers and Digital Designers to improve the usability
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
• Help Back-End Developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
• Apply your knowledge and skills of the latest front-end tools and technologies to create modular, reusable building blocks.

• As needed, assume the role of Web Designer, designing creative for marketing campaigns, converting designs to HTML, and staying up to date on design best practices.
• Deliver tasks according to project and process standards (quality, end date, thoroughness, etc.). Communicate and collaborate with team members to identify areas of improvement in terms of back-end development, design, assets, etc.


Skills and Experience

• Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer
• Hands-on experience with markup languages
• Experience with CSS and JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS or AngularJS
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Familiarity with software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and XD, as well as content management systems
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
• BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Front-end developer
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, or other code editor experience with Grunt/Task Runners
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design principals
• Strong design concept skills, including typography, colors, styles, etc.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Knowledge of SEO principles
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skill.

Salary
N 100,000 – N 200,000 per month for a start:
