It is time a solution is developed to clear such vehicles from the road. This is 2019 for Pete sake, 20 years into the 21st century! An engineering solution can be found. It should be possible to create a contraption that can be transported by a team of bikes to make it easy for them to maneuver traffic and coupled together at the spot to remove the broken down vehicle or vehicles. The contraption should be able to turn lorries up and even move them from the road. Engineering can do that. It is extremely important that broken down vehicles are removed as swiftly as possible rather than to leave miles of frustrated motorists. When I was much younger, still a teenager, I felt combat helicopters could be used to lift up broken down vehicles especially trailers but the cost is punitive. 5 Likes 2 Shares |
