Sicilyjoe:it all depends on d info and strategy u have. most apprentices(boy boy) are settled with such amounts.some even lower, but after like two years they dn grow their money .
a cousin of mine who graduated as an engineer started last year. he started with 150k now he told in December DT he has abt a million plus.what he does is DT he buys cloth, cans, watches from here and sell to customers outside Onitsha wit profit.
so ur 500k can do a lot for u if u can device a strategy DT can work for u. there is an apprentice boy in my street I was discussing wit one day abt Biz. he told me their cloth Biz doesn't require much capital .DT they turnover with around 700k in his masters shop. not DT d master doesn't have above DT amount but DT such amount is OK for their turnover. this is aguy DT a times makes a profit of 30k and above on daily basis on days of good market. on bad days at least 5k profit. he told me his oga gave him 60k to be doing polo biz in their shop march last year. by dec last year d money has grown to 470k. thats an average profit of 38k per month on a capital of 60k. some of these boys they are things they learn and know which many of us who entered biz after getting a degree doesnt know.i do learn from them as well.
there is a guy I know who is into computer accessory Biz. his Oga settled him wit around 600k last four years. I use to supply him modems and some other accessories. he is doing well and honest too. DTS what matters most hardworking and honesty. I use to give him goods worth abt a million naira.he sells and pay my money back. I don't believe in motivational speech but am a realist, I believe in things I have done or see people doingnot saying

bamidele89:what exactly do u wanna know.
last year I decided to enter food Biz since I have not done such Biz before. also considering d policy of d fg DT is trying to discourage importation and encourage local Biz/farming.also d failing rates obtainable in the money markets.I just needed other investments DT can give more interests monthly. I made some enquiries from some people who are into d Biz and decided to start with beans. I travelled to d north and made some contacts. bought some beans. the first batch came in January 1st this year. second batch came in last two weeks. its a new Biz so am watching bit to see how it goes. so far so good. I sell in bags. but I discovered that those who sell in paint buckets and cups makes more. me I ant do that. my bags of beans cones in I supply and later my money is paid into my account for me

maximizer61:d biggest stockfish markets in nigeria is in onitsha, aba and lagos, d most stocked ones re d onitsha and aba own, so ur location will depend on,d,one u choose to buy from, personally i know alot of people who import and distribute them, its a lucrative biz but a risky one too, stockfish is a perishable goods that depreciates with time, to do,suvh biz u need to be sure about d market u re to sell to, okporoko no be sth u pack in ur warehouse for long, thats many dealers of it sell,to their trusted customers on credit, so,much credit dey d biz, most people into it are doing very well, its not a,biz dt has many sources, not like some articles dt anybody goes to china and import, there re few people who import them and its from, only two countries, so if u get a good location were many igbos dey and may few other tribe people dt uses it to cook, too, dey well u go sell
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by antivirushop: 4:06pm On Feb 04, 2020
TariEnoch:china polo re d best, their designs and colors dey always dey trendy and catchy for eye, indian polo is good too and cheaper but d china owns sells out faster, cloth biz is a lucrative one if u source at good prices ur profit will be bigger, clothes dey sell well well, campus area is good for d,biz too bc students na dem dey dress pass, just make sure u bring good stuffs and designs to them, u can start small, dont rush and dont be greedy too

Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by antivirushop: 4:23pm On Feb 04, 2020
Nenyezz:better do it in asaba, i wont advise anyone to,do wine biz, how many people still dey drink wine, d presence of many fakes for market dn make people to seldom buy and drink wines like beofre, i know a giy who started this biz in onitsha but had to close it down bc of low patronage, well evey peson case wont be d same, but for me its a,no,no, before u do stockfish biz make sure u have people to sell to so u dont start eating them by yourself if no customer show, i forgot to state dt its a capital intensive biz o, a,bag costs above 40k, there ones dt costs 100k plus, if u want d bales na from 200k up per bag depending on,d,sizes, the stockfish heads are d cheap ones,
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by Nenyezz: 4:28pm On Feb 04, 2020
antivirushop:so doing the stockfish business in asaba will be better? i was thinking because of the proximity to onitsha it wont be a good idea. yes i know is capital intensive and lets say the person wants to sell in wholesale will it not be better getting a shop in their market at onitsha.
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by antivirushop: 4:28pm On Feb 04, 2020
Nenyezz:ose market in onitsha, be like say i go even create thread for it
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by antivirushop: 4:38pm On Feb 04, 2020
Nenyezz:to sell in wholesale inside d market u need to,be a member of d union unless u will be retailing inside d same market, which means u buy in bags and open and sell in pieces, if so,u can rent a shop inside d market, d retailers shop inside d market is 1500k per month, very cheap rent, there re many retailers there too, so to avoid competition u may conside been anoda location,
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by Nenyezz: 5:06pm On Feb 04, 2020
antivirushop:okay thanks for your input. how much will it cost to join the union and for someone with no prior knowledge of the business, will learning the business for some months be advisable. and also someone that has no customer and just starting..what will the person do to start making it.thanks
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by antivirushop: 9:37pm On Feb 04, 2020
Nenyezz:u can learn for some months and then enter the union
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by antivirushop: 9:45pm On Feb 04, 2020
TariEnoch:I forgot to add DT d china polos have different quality, material and designs. that's also brings d differences in price. there re expensive and cheap ones. so u need to go to d market and see d Ines DT suits ur taste and market.
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by antivirushop: 12:25am On Feb 05, 2020
antivirushop:just as I said earlier, have created a thread for the beans stuff.u can checkout my competitive prices there
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by Nenyezz: 8:12am On Feb 05, 2020
antivirushop:but do u think it will be a good business?and how much is the union fee.
Re: Why You Should Do Business In Onitsha by antivirushop: 10:38am On Feb 05, 2020
Nenyezz:its a good Biz but very capital intensive. if u get good customers u go excel. for d union fees u need to come to their office in Owerri road and buy form then u will be told all d necessary fees. if u still want to trade another thing that is not stockfish u can as well get cheap shoo in d stockfish international market and u won't need to enter their union.

Paint buckets 20 litres and 4 litres (white colour)
Titanium dioxide per Kg
Synthetic Rubber per kg
Toluene per litre.
Also if there those who brand the buckets.
Knowing the prices will help me to compare and also to know what to come along with.
