It's like there's a spell attached to that ajegunle area... No matter how rich they may be, it is usually hard to leave that area... My aunt lives there, she'd be telling my mom that she can't live anywhere else apart from Ajegunle.... One of her daughters even got married in that area... I guess they've been wired that way...

Forget the bad image attached to Aj from the 70s

1. All the major roads at Ajegunle are tarred.
2. Aj has 3 major health centers.
3. Hospitality ( There are over 40 hotels) at Ajeromi ifelodun ! Yes 30 if not more.
Ndokwa alone has more than 10 hotels at Ajegunle.
4. There are more than 50 or more private & government primary and secondary schools.
5. The former speaker of lagos house of Representatives ( HKT) is from Ajegunle.
6. There are 2 Major Army barracks at Ajegunle ( (Arakan & signal barracks)
7. 4 Police stations or more
( Layeni,Ajeromi,Pako,Tolu)
And so many more..

My point is Ajegunle is not as bad as been painted.
There are the good the bad & ofcos the ugly.

Oh, I'm sad to hear this. He was quite popular back in the mid to late 2000s (2006 to 2009) and his song, kpolongo, was one of my favorite songs in 2007.

Even till this year I would play kpolongo every now and then as it would bring back fond memories of my first year as an undergraduate.
