Often times when Nigerians speaks about tribes in our country, they will speaks of other tribes as a single tribe but when it comes to Hausa and Fulani they will joint it as Hausa/Fulani. There is nothing like Hausa/Fulani. We have Fulanis which speaks Fulfulde and are majorly herdsmen while we have Hausa who speak Hausa and are largely farmers.

The real Hausas were chased out a long time ago.
What we have is a branch of fulanis claiming hausa and farmers.

You don't understand how conquest works
There is a reason every Hausa bar one or two seats are ruled by an Emir.
It even extended to the South West
It's no joke it's serious business, that's why I can't stand one Nigeria people that keep deceiving themselves regarding the Fulanis,
Since the 1800's they are the only ethnic group that keeps spreading
That's why Ruga must be resisted with blood if possible

I don't think Nnamdi Kanu represents all Ibos, and you have alot more to lose when Nigeria breaks up because your investments up north are in trillions of naira as compared to the few billions our elite have in your region. You claim to control the banks? Hahahahaha

But your elite were the first "bastards" who set the precedent, right from the day we attained self-rule.

Your grandfather Dr. Azikwe was the first to "bow" for a mere Grade II teacher - Tafawa Balewa.

You meant the Grade II teacher the infamous hydra headed snake (Awo)went to Kadnuna to beg for a coalition government with his party?

Millions of fulanis (of the northwest) have been hausanized. They claim to be ethnically fulanis but they no longer practice fulani culture or speak fulani language e.g Buhari, Yaradua, Shagari e.t.c

How do you guys suggest that these Hausanized fulanis should be classified? Should they be Hausas or Fulanis?

Hausas and fulanis have overmixed so much, so it is not out of place if they are jointly referred to as Hausa-fulani. If you don't like it, go back and undo the history.
Infact for me, I take it to be Hausa-fulani-Kanuri (aka Core-northerners). The same retrogressive and unproductive set of human beigns.

As of today, there are little to no fulanis who don't speak Hausa. Most fulanis from Gombe, Taraba & Bauchi speak fluent Hausa! It is only in Adamawa where you can find fulanis who do not speak fluent Hausa. Even at that they still understand. Hausa language has penetrated every ethnic group in the north and middlebelt except for the Tivs, Idomas, Igalas, Ebiras, Nupes & Kwara!

Can you tell us when Awo physically went to kadunna to beg TB for a coalition govt? You guys lies so much, it's gotta be a genetic trait! However we all know from historical fact that your doctor Azikwe willing and shamefully opt to serve TB in the first republic. Ditto your doctor Ekweume who too serve another Grade II teacher - Shehu Shagari in the second republic,

You folks are the authentic slaves who took great delight in sucking up to the fulani masters.

But a Grade II teacher is far better than a no WAEC certificate herdsman a SAN and prof is serving at the moment.

Anytime you hear about high level of poverty in the north, trust me they are majorly Hausas whom the Fulanis have kept in perpetual poverty so that they wouldn't rise up one day to reclaim their birth right. Most Hausas are slaves in their own land as they have been keenly robbed but covered and decorated with religion so that they wouldn't see vividly.

Whenever I come across the Hausa people, I often pitty them as Xenophobia in SA is far better than what they are going through. Hausas have been captured, caged and sent to the bottomless pit. Their hope of regaining their freedom is very slim. Their captors kept selecting some greedy few among them and rob their lips with the oil from the delicious jollof rice which they only perceive the aroma but are not allowed to taste....

Let's forget about religious brainwashing, most Hausas are nice and friendly.

Now that there are a lot of Hausas in the south, maybe they will get civilised and one day do the needful.

As for the Ilorin matter, advocacy had started, those ones have woken up from their religious slumbering and they want to collect their cake from their master.
