Senate can't approve the bill without the consent of
House of representatives and same thing goes to house of representatives too. Before the approval of bill there must be a joint Senate committee in conjunction with house of representatives committee. This body deliberate on budget or bill .and they give feedback to their colleagues in the house.

House of reps is made up of representatives from each local government area in Nigeria, while Senate comprises representatives from each senatorial district (usually 3) of every state.

In addition to the contributions above, one is lower chamber while the other is upper chamber with primary aim of making laws similar to the one in US. The only difference is, while there is speaker both in the lower chamber in Nigeria and US. The upper chamber that's the Senate has Senate President in Nigeria but in US, the Vice President is automatically their Senate President.
