Please I am so happy to read your article. Why is it only when Europe finds a player we make noise over that. A player in Nigeria is not good until an European either a team, a coach or an agent says he is good. If Tammy Abraham does what he is doing in Nigeria we will all neglect that. Emmanuel Dennis in Club Brugge played for Abuja FC was not good enough until he got to Europe. There are many Nigerians that can be great as we want only that we lack investment in this part of the world, especially in sports. Our music stake holders did much investment over the years, today we have the top world musician. Imagine if this is done in sports, this country will produce great Tennis, Football, Basket Ball, Boxers, Athletics etc to rule the world.

Forget this guy and focus on what is within you. We did in 1994 we an still do it again.

I don't get this amount of bile and bitterness here... Is it that we as a nation of over 20 million footballing youths have become so bereft of talents that we need to make a big deal over an English national's choice to play for his country of birth??!... Is this a new level of desperation??!...

Make we hear word abeg.... I am sick of this Tammy Abraham gist jor.

newsynews:
Tammy Abraham has expressed excitement over his call up to play for the Three Lions of England in Euro 2020 qualifiers.

The Chelsea striker of Nigerian decent opened up about the call up by England saying “(I’m) Always proud to get the England call up”.

If Tammy Abraham should feature for England in the games against Czech Republic and Bulgaria, his eligibility to play for the Super Eagles will be ruined.

Meanwhile, England manager Gareth Southgate, who spoke on why he called Tammy Abraham to join the Three Lions said, “He (Abraham ) and Tomori are both in on merit and have been part of our junior system right the way through , so we see them as English players and they have a huge desire to play for England at senior level.

“It was a fairly easy decision ( to pick Abraham ) as he’ s the leading English goalscorer in the league”.

Also called to join the squad is another Nigerian Fikayo Tomori.

Precisely... We just don't invest in human and youth development. So much talent abounds in this nation. It's a shame.

were those guys good enough Would fash have benched yekini Would gabriel have benched yakubu or martins

Agbolarhor was never a top 9, he is more of a flank player.... And demn yes, he would have seen constant shirt in Nigeria team.

Agbolaor was a first team player in westham then.

Like it or not, u see the next world cup, he won't be picked .... But there is great chance Nigeria would have picked him ..

Good decision from Tomori and Abraham.
It good that we're attracted to these kind of players but we need to move on and sort out for other shining stars.
I know how hard it is not having that shining star in the English Premier League but we could look else where for talent
Talents like
Chuba Akpom (PAOK)
Chidera Ejuke(Hereveen)
Orji Okonkwo (Montreal Impact)
Eberechi Eze(QPR)
Sheyi Ojo (Rangers Glasgow)
And many others

Our focus should be in our defensive department which we need to be solid at the back.

If Na You Be Tammy, You go choose Super Eagles over The Three Lions?

yes,i will play for my home country. Playing time is important in soccer, the three lions is known for dumping players who are not natives.

Naija reach to snub abeb.
who Naija epp. If naija was good, he would have been born in the UK in the first place.

We should stop placing more emphasis on foreign players abeg. we have kids in the streets of Lagos, Enugu, owerri, Aba, Onitsha, PH and co that can do better. But as they no get person to help we ignore them.

To the NFF: you can't sit down and watch people hussle their way and become stars or watch as other countries develop your player, only for you to suddenly call them up when they're made. You need to make conscious efforts to develop your players and not wait to claim them when they're made.
To Tammy: all the best in your career. But I doubt they will utilise you for too long.

Use and dump England. They'll tie them down now. Ask Agbonlahor and Fashanu and other Nigerian players who opted for England.

Ask Gabriel Agbolahan i will tell that you should not snub 9ja,because England will use you and drop you after 2 3 games and you would be useful for 9ja again we will start mocking you like John Fashanu case

Please ignore the ignorant ones.Till today Paul Gascoigne with all him mess is being looked after properly to keep his sanity level.Look at Rashidi Yekini how he died like a chicken and that is our all time leading goal scorer.Just picture players with few caps. The way it is,England does not forget her heroes, they will look after him till death except he becomes an unrepentant criminal.
crazyABO:
When village people are not doing him angry see all of una above me saying he should GTF, they would bench him bla bla, all Nigerian players dey fell sick and died for no reason wetin naija use support them The ones that arent dead they still owe them money undecided u think naija made the rich ones rich abeg undecided undecided if u people want to serve your country u can go n play football or join military or police no body hold una. Let them bench him them go pay am grin

Good luck to him.. if he thinks he can bench Harry Kane he should think again.
Even Jamie Vardy but he can be a good replacement when they re retired
