Newsbroadcastnaija: Finally Ruga has taken place in Ebonyi State as Fulani herdsmen and their families arrive in their numbers with full trailers of load and buses.
The news has really carried it as it has also been confirmed that the herders in their numbers arrived a particular village in Izzi LGA. In the first place, they claimed that the very land they came to occupy had been sold to them by the Governor of the state. But after much disagreement between them, both the police that escorted them and the youths of the community, they were later directed to another land still in the same state to settle, rear their cattle, graze the land, born and train their children and as well install their Emir in non distance time.
It believed that Engr. David Umahi governor of Ebonyi state sold Izzi land to Fulani herdsmen for RUGA settlement to meet his 2023 presidential political ambition, the Fulanis moved in to Izzi land with not less than 20 fully loaded vehicles of herdsmen comprising men women and their children to forcefully occupy the land with the Nigeria Security operatives escorting and keeping guide over them as instructed by David Umahi the state governor to avoid resistance from the owners of the land who are seriously unhappy and uncomfortable with the oppression.
