National Breast Cancer Awareness Day #nobraday by Rukkydelta(f): 7:29pm On Oct 13, 2019
Today marks it the 8th anniversary of #NoBraDay. Waking up this morning to an October 13th and checking the social media I wasn't surprised with what I did see but I weep for the ignorance I see flying around. Thousands if not millions of individuals are tweeting about #nobraday on twitter but a large number of the tweets display ignorance only a few are in alliance with what today, October 13th truly symbolize.

National Breast Cancer Awareness Day is a day to enlighten women around the world on cancer and how to self-examine themselves to know if there is a lump on the breast or not. Early discovery of a lump on the breast can be treated but late discovery can lead to medical surgery.

For those of us that don't know much about breast cancer, I will give you a brief information

Breast cancer is a type of cancer that affects the cells of the breast. Breast cancer is associated with women but can also occur in men but in a very low situation. Over the years the rate of death associated with breast cancer have reduced due to alignment and educational programs being organized.

Some of the symptoms of breast cancer are as follows:

• A breast lump that feels different from the surrounding tissues of the breast
