Its gonna affect us because we can only buy usd, which has already increased as at today. Best bet is to get usd now as naira devaluation is inevitable

Interesting, will like to know more. So you mean sooner or later the rates on oanda and xe.com will go up ?

Has it always been like that or i have been making mistakes, cos with spouse i used to get 472 to 477 only me 463 to 469 depending on the ielts, but now i found out that i get same or even higher score only me or the same. no spouse impact at all

Maybe i have been adding Canadian work experience that has been making me feel it's foreign work experience for spouse, you get me? sad
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by amaya21: 8:07am On Mar 12, 2020
LOL spouse work experience outside Canada doesn't add points. It's not a new thing.

I called them also cuz I was worried and was told I didn’t have any outstanding document. So you can give them a call. Check the site for the number I can’t rem it. Hope this helps. [/quote]

not might . Will change. CAD is not a major currency nor has active trading market in nigeria. Hence the slow reaction. It will later catch up with dollar.

Hello everyone.
Great job everyone here always ready to help (Too numerous to mention). May God bless you all, amen.
I have some questions and would need help
1) I have job experience not related to my degree or NOC (4165), can this be added to my EE profile?
2) I entered the pool before coming here and I now realise a lot of precautions I should have taken before filling out the EE, Is it possible I delete my profile and apply again? Will I be affected?
3) My current EE score is 450, started learning french to improve it, however, worried about my spouse's NOC because its equivalent is military, will this affect my application?

Thank you in advance

1- no issue
2- you can
3- it may lead to extensive security checks. As long as he has no record of genocide or killings nothing to worry about

1) Any work experience can be added to your EE if it was paid, performed within the last ten years, and within NOC A, B or 0. However, people can choose which ones they want to put in personal history and which ones they want in EE.

2) You can modify/delete your profile without penalty

3) Spouses are not required to include work experience in EE, especially outside Canada as it doesn't add points. However, after ITA the spouse will need to declare work experience among other things in the last ten years when filling the personal history section.

Good morning to everyone, need our advice on something please.

We are about submitting our application but just discovered an issue in relation to my wife who is the PA. We discovered we made a mistake in the duration of her work experience for 2 out of 4 employers. It was a mix up while we were filling up the EE profile as we were not with the reference letters at the time. For 1, we wrote Sept to Sept instead of Nov to Nov. The second was supposed to be Dec to March, but we wrote Nov to March. We discovered this after receipt of the employers' reference letters.

Now my questions as to the best course of action to take:
1. Should we go on to use the duration stated on the reference letters and explain the reason for the discrepancy in the LOE? What is the effect of admitting that we made a mistake while we were filling the EE profile pre - ITA?

2. Should we decline this ITA, then modify our information in tandem with the duration in the reference letters, so we are back into the pool in expectation of the next draw? Our CRS is 476. So we avoid any explanation through the LOE.

3. Should we delete our profile altogether and create an entirely new one to avoid a situation where the VO notices in our archives a lot of discrepancies, declining of an ITA and so forth. We do not want any complications in our application?

Thank you while awaiting our responses as usual.

Good morning peeps, a quick request for guidance.

Is there a need to repeat work experience accumulated during studies, already stated under work history, in personal history again? I am asking because the duration of the studies would have covered the work experience period stated under personal history.

Thank you

As far the changes wont affect tour CRS, you are good to go. You can as well do LOE if that will make you sleep well at night.

Shalom

It can’t catch up with USD. The only way it will ever catch up with USD is if 1CAD equals 1USD and that’s probably never going to happen. Its like saying USD will catch up with Pounds Sterling - no way in hell! grin

Master’s in what? Be mindful of the fact that WES doesn’t evaluate some professional courses as “professional”, especially Law. If you are a medical doctor then you are safe.
