Guys I think we have to be more prayerful as we go about this project. There are things we can't just explain sometimes. God help us!

Please what's the implication of not listing all of one's siblings? My cousin forgot to mention a member of the family

So sorry about that... Don't beat yourself over it, stage a comeback & hopefully you will laugh again. God will make this seemingly bad occurrence to work for your good. Pls be encouraged!

You will have to wait for another ITA draw. Meanwhile, we all need to be very careful whwb we are completing anything concerning the Canadian folks... They don't joke with errors o! They will reject ones application!

Pls guys, recently i caught the ghost on my profile that changes my background check from " we are processing" to "application in progress."

My background check has been on "we are processing" since the inception of my application(AOR- Aug 2019; VO - AVO)

Pls who can explain to me.
Thank you.

Hey! A friend pointed out to me that his application bar disappeared. I checked other forums and noticed some people made same observation while others with same application date said theirs still shows. Do you know what it means? Have you checked your profile recently to find out if it's still there? Mine is still showing though my expected date is still next month June 18, I submitted my application on the 18th of December 2019...VO is Accra.

I noticed it when I checked my application yesterday. I checked again today and it's now showing. Submitted my app on the 17th of January 2020.
I don't know my VO but it's definitely one of the VOs that process applications for those residing in the US.

It is just this IELTS suspension that is happening in the US that I’m a bit worried about. And I recently found out IELTS in the US is paper based. Was thinking it would be Computer based.

sesan01:

Here in the US, IELTS test has been suspended until further notice. I believe it's the same in other countries. WES has temporarily suspended all in-office operations. Documents that reached their office after March 10, 2020 should expect delays. With these disruptions and delays, I see the score dropping to the 460s and late 450s as you said (not so soon because some applications are already in the loop but eventually) in the next couple of weeks/months.
Those in the 460s and late 450s should get their docs ready because there is still hope for ITA.

Hi.

Do you think a Microsoft Professional Certification can be evaluated by WES?

Thanks

I need your advice. IOM instructed I wait till I get a medical request form from IRCC before I can do my medicals because I had earlier submitted my application. Is there anyway around this ?

Recently, IOM has resumed medicals again. So you should book and go for your medicals as if it were upfront. The new process for verification is an e-copy of your international passport and payment. Afterwards, raise CSE and upload the document.
Hope this helps

I tried doing this. They refused. They asked me to wait till I get the form from IRCC. Does the form apply to express entry candidates?

I just checked and mine is still showing. Could be a technical glitch as same happened to me some months back but reappeared after some days.

Yes, it does. It will be explicitly written there and attached when Ircc updates your account

Errors at a glance: Pleaes | writing ? | Essay.However,I've | exact.

The truth, based on your statement above, is, you still have a lot of work to do. Writing requires patience and sangfroid; and you have to practice in every little way that you can (like here on Nairaland) before you can write lengthier pieces.

I hope you find someone to help you soon.

I have ways been a view from outside but decided to drop this comment... For all those intending to take the IELTS, you can go on YouTube to see loads of videos that will guide your practice. A particular guy (Jay ielts) is awesome and his videos are very explicit. You can try it out.

Used it when I was practicing and I aced my ielts in one sitting!

When creating your profile you fill "none or less than secondary school"
Post ITA - you get a chance fill in his details in his 10 year history.

Thanks very much @stencil

Thanks a lot I hope they give him the opportunity to apply for remark, he already sent mail again to ask for a possibility of remark, he was told they would ask from a superior officer, my friend is just stubborn he should have taken the exam again all this while. its a sad something. undecided

It is possible it was withheld that long because of the great disparity between his other scores and writing, It is likely that it’s already been reviewed by another examiner. I will encourage him to not waste time any more and write another one.

Pls how can one increase their points? Did everything possible and still fall on 440 points and the last cut off was 471 so we are way behind. We want to try and improve our points.

Have you fully or partially maxed out ielts?

Gotten two or more certificate or you have masters?

Learned French and written TEF or TCF?

Those are the ways to increase point in order of simplicity

In scenerio like this just like law degree and law school certificate, i always advice one to use WES(though I am not a wes fan). In your case, I will advice that you kick start with WES immediately while waiting for a response from CES. I doubt if anyone has gotten 2 or more certificate from CES with your credentials.
