Have you ordered for GCMS? If it's certain they are working, you can disturb them small, lol, by either sending them mails or ordering web forms... That's what I did with AVO and I noticed I get Ghost Updates days after I disturb them.. Could be a coincidence or maybe the approach worked. But my file is approved now and loads of peeps I know with my AOR or even before files haven't been acted upon.
How do you know or see these ghost updates?

Thanks a lot Bro.

I ordered GCMS yesterday - no time to waste anymore cheesy. Hopefully, the feedback from GCMS will bring more clarity into understanding the delay.

My VO is actually Montreal but whenever I try to send a webform, Montreal VO doesn't pop up in the dropdown. I only see Accra, Lagos etc.

How dis you find yourself in montreal? Married post AOR or inland?

Isn't it time this thread be archived @justwise? It's gone over the usual number of pages.

Great one @GCMS request.

@Not seeing Montreal, it's a lil weird though. Did you check for Visa Office in Canada? Montreal is in Canada o! If you still can't see it there, I am sure someone here can guide you.

Are you in Lagos or Abuja?
If Abuja, IOM clinic is the only option you have. The online booking did not work when I tried it so I called the number on their website to make an appointment. Some forms will be sent to your mail for you to print, fill and bring along on your appointment date in addition to your international passport.

Please can someone kindly guide me on the process of upfront medicals. Thank you

Thanks for your message.

Here’s what I found on the cic website.

I can’t see anywhere to pick Montreal VO specifically.

Constant monitoring spirit o, lol. Have a friend that is in one AVO whatsapp group..both of us share close AOR. Whenever anyone in the group indicates that they got a ghost update, we logon to check our profile.

When you see a ghost update, your application status woukd change from Submitted to Application/profile updated, which generally means someone is working or just worked on your profile. If you log out and in again, it will change back to submitted. It's easy to miss it if you don't check regularly.

Got 3 ghost updates though before approval... Heard some people get just one or two.

it is not wrong info. Wes was evaluating as one semester at some point. They just started evaluating it as one year again.
It is still wrong info.

Because then is different from NOW.

A lot has changed with WES, that is why people need to stay updated and keep researching on latest trends.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Chidx(f): 12:03am On Aug 21, 2020
You could just have nicely asked for proof. See my Wes eca report below. Check the date that came out!

They stopped accessing ACCA F1-F3 as one year early 2019, maybe they have started again

55emem55:

WRONG INFO!!!
Please stop staying what you don't know.
Research before giving false information.

ACCA F1-F3 is evaluated by WES as one year certificate.

Do yourself some due diligence to do your research first.

Well dear, I used my own experience as a evidence. I have uploaded my eca report just now on this page.

I evaluated my F1-F3 diploma April 2019 and it was evaluated as one semester. I had to go write F4 - F9 and i just did an upgrade like added a certificate for wes to reevaluate and the result which came out Aug 13 2020 is what I uploaded.

Some people have said they got a year for the same F1-F3 diploma just recently, I hope its true, will make it easier for those that want to try. Jist talking from my own experience.

Mrsc22:
Are you sure of this please? I know several people with one year as Acca.

Not so nice à way to reply really. While I'm not sure if nysc passes as an experience for them at sinp, we all agree it is. Nurses and Doctors going to UK use their internship (pre nysc) job as experience, so do you expect them to delete nysc year because 'Canada doesn't know what nysc is'?

Hi guys. Please I have some questions
1. If you receive the ready for visa email and don’t submit your passport for about 5 months because you didn’t see the email. Is there any recourse.
2. If this email was received in March pre covid can you plead the pandemic for not submitting your passport? Is the expectation that you have to raise a webform if you are unable to submit the passport?
3. Please is there any way to remedy this or the interested party has to start all over.
Thanks guys.

Your VO is in Canada, the ones that show up are outside canada.

Montreal does not have a direct contact, raising webforms/phone calls is the best way to reach them.

It's a good thing that you ordered GCMS notes, however, please don't be alarmed if you see "review required" on eligibility. For some strange reason, almost all applications that go to Montreal have review required.

You'd still get PPR. I wish you all the best

House please I have a question from a friend. Her ECA evaluation with WES has the “name discrepancy statement” on the report, because her first degree was in her maiden name, while she registered with WES using the married surname on her passport. Now she’s about evaluating another degree which was gotten using her married surname. Should she contact WES to explain to avoid confusion, or will a one and same person affidavit post ECA/change of name affidavit(she already has this) suffice?

There are answers on the web regarding this. It doesn't look like you'd have to start all over again but you have to act fast due to covid and all.

Nothing concern WES with affivadit, she should go ahead and evaluated it, as she bears both names legally.... She should not worry her head exchanging mails... Her marriage cert will solve all at d later stage of EE process.

Both of you are right. WES has been inconsistent in evaluating F1-F3. I and several other people got one semester, a lot others got one year and I know someone who got 3 years (Yes, 3 years with F1-F3)
