Onitsha Tanker Explosion: Federal Lawmaker Moves to Help Businessman Who Lost Shop.

A lawmaker from Imo State, Hon. Ozurigbo Ugonna has taken the first step to offer succor to those who lost their Businesses at the tanker explosion in Onitsha, Anambra yesterday, Wednesday, 17 October, 2019.

In a series of tweets he made on his official tweeter account and also available on his other social media accounts, the lawmaker while urging other well meaning Nigerians to come to the aide of victims of the fire accepted to help one of the affected business owner bounce back to life.

In the tweet he asked anyone with the contact of the fellow who photos of his charred shop went viral yesterday to come forward with the information on how to find him.

Hon. Ozurigbo represents Nkwerre/Isu/Nwangele/Njaba of Imo State at the House of Representatives.

with what just happened yesterday it clearly shows that we are just on our own in this country. no help at all from the government. is a pity

This is how it should be. A lot of Imo indigenes live in Onitsha. Even the Imo state government should weigh in and assist the victims. This is a collective tragedy.

A functional fire service in Onitsha is very crucial now.
