Keep laughing at your ignorance...Hausa killed over 3 million Igbos and Ojukwu (the leader of the Biafrans) still agreed to serve as an errand boy for Abacha....Isn't it amusing?

No, he championed the cause of the Edos...

Who are those vocal minority?

You people are reactionary elements...

Quit being a slippery eel!

The accusation was that Mazi Kanu championed just the cause of Ndigbo! Can you say with a degree of certainty that this is the case? Or you’ve not heard some Igbos and other ethnicities ask him to focus solely on Ndigbo?

The vocal Yoruba minority are the Tinubu otimpkus, minions and thugs! Or you want to tell me MOST Yoruba are happy with the direction their nation is heading to under the ‘leadership’ of the bug-eyed one?

[s]You are funny. Quoting different News sources when I have already put a video where Abaribe said he does not regret standing surety for Kanu. In the same video, Abaribe told the journalists that nobody expects Kanu to stay back and be killed when they invaded his house.

People keep saying Kanu jumped bail, an intelligent person would be asking why he had to jump bail. The government of Buhari sent armed Soldiers on an assassination mission to kill Kanu and some people are asking why Kanu jumped bail. If Kanu had stayed to be killed, is it his dead body that would have stood trial?[/s]

Biafra is Edo or Nupe or Ijaw?

Tinubu and co are the vocal minority?....So says an Igbo boy who knows next to nothing about the Yorubas.

I think the point is made already.

Sowore acted as an activist, so he should be helped by the activists. This is clear enough. But people who have a permanent "we vs them" mentality will never understand. So, there is no point going in circles with such.

NKs predicament actually taught people a lesson and noone wants to go through what abaribe went through when NK jumped bail and disappered.

Abaribe was only ytring to be politically correct, why has he not been seen in ipob activities like boycotts and sit at home ?
why should he be seen in ipob activities?. Is he the one leading the biafra movement?. Abaribe will still stand for kanu anytime anyday because kanu is an igbo man, not minding his offence. Abaribe may not support the division of nigeria but he supported kanu as an igbo man... let the unreliables (yorubas) come out shamelessly and support their son (sowore) and stop calling him an ijaw man.

so for all your political smartness and sargacity, you didn't know it was same igbo leaders (Sen Abaribe, Osita chidoka, SE governors etc) that settled NK n sealed the deal for him to jump bail

kindly answer these questions below:

what did Sen Abaribe loose in NK jumping bail

who benefited most from the NK leaving South East, if not these same igbo political leaders that could now freely campaign for 2019 n beyond

what was the most single action that stifled Ipob biafra Agitation to the benefit of Fed govt and igbo political leaders. Was it NK Fed govt persecution, court case, imprisonment or NK jumping bail

was it not after NK parley n meetings with SE govs in Enugu that he jumped bail

after answering those, you should realise that NK actually smiled to the bank and jumped bail in a deal between him n SE govs with collaboration of fed forces.

Guy deal with the truth of what Reno is saying, u may not necessarily accept his person

Shifting the goal post to justify betrayal of your own kinsman. Abaribe will even no longer be qualified to stand in bail for Kanu as at today. IPOB is now playing big in the international scene with a lot of world bodies waiting in the shadows. It will rather be pressure from a barrage of neck-breaking sanctions from all over the world that will get him bailed.
so young fella, concern yourself with with the Yoruba ignominy for abandoning their own in time of dire need than hoping that Kanu will also be deserted if he is arrested today.

Omokri has come to vomit trash for his gullible supporters again...To start with, Nnamdi Kanu was an Igbo supremacist who used his platform to propagate Igbo worldview and the call for Biafra. We all know that it was perhaps in the best interest of Igbo political office holders to get him out of the country.

In contrast, Sowore wasn't a champion of any Yoruba agenda. He was just the arrow head of a mass movement that had Igbos, Yorubas, Ijaws, etc. So, I don't know why Omokri has decided to limit his failure to meet the bail conditions to the Yorubas alone, as if Sowore is an OPC leader or a member of the Agbekoya group.

This is how the attempts to reclaim Abiola's mandate was wrongly described as a Yoruba agenda by Igbos and Hausas, despite the fact that Abiola won a national election.

My question to Sowore and his idiotic supporters who can't think for themselves is whether Sowore ever championed a Yoruba cause.

so you think kanu was championing igbo cause abi sorryyyyy.

if there's a fair Referendum in SE today on biafra cause. Hands down Igbos will remain in Nigeria period.

Many Igbos know that they'll loose more in any case of separation n that Nnamdi kanu is Job man. Many know that SE problems is more internal (igbo self centered leaders) than external (Nigeria as a whole)
But for their pride they'll stand by him.
it'll shock u that Even Sen Uzor kalu also contributed to Kanu's release.

Every tribe in Nigeria has their strengths n weaknesses including igbos accept n deal with it and stop these embarrassing rants. Example, is Igbo's unhealthy drive for wealth by all means is beginning to disgust, so??

infact personally I'm more convinced that Sowore is fighting a far better cause than NK. It's a big shame on all SW celebrities, politicians and eminent personalities that he's still in jail period.

Deal with the truth of Reno's assertions here. U don't necessarily have to accept his person

You are too calm and nice z this is what we've been explaining over and over, twitter followers do not count as real support NO it doesn't

When one of the old PDP scammers in Afenifebi claimed his 400 Hectares was set on fire by fulani herdsmen even the stupidest Yoruba didn't fall for it, eventually the farm was not up to 100 acre and it was insurance fraud

Yoruba is woke and we are wise,

We didn't protest for Saraki, we didn't protest for other looters, but these idiots from that region protested for NDDC boss, for patience Jonathan for madueke, for Stella oduah , James ìbòrí, even for alamesiwga or whatever the Bleep it's name is

We see someone do wrong we don't stand by them, Yorubas are nationalists who love Nigeria and peace, not secessionista who believe that the moment they declare Republic every where will turn to dubai overnight

Sowore erred, he was warned, even before election he was a loose cannon

I don't need okikechukmwu bambiala idiot telling me how to discipline my brother

And in reality abaribe never paid the bail bond, nk's bail was not 300M , it was 100M same as Sowore's now

Nk actually spoiled the ground because now court will want to collect that money before releasing Sowore

Since you claim that you guys should have shown more solidarity if Sowore were a Yoruba supremacist, why is Adeyinka Grandson, foremost Yoruba supremacist, all over the internet begging Yorubas to help him fund his legal cost to save him from an inevitable jail term or deportation in the ongoing case with London Authority. Why did Yorubas abandon him to the point of resorting to begging for alms over the internet. His desperation by turning to open begging, not minding the indignity, only points to one thing: he has been ignored.
Kindly explain.

You empty barrels couldn't answer my simple question: Is Sowore a Yoruba supremacist like KANU?

Has he ever identified with a Yoruba cause home and abroad?

Has he ever championed the declaration of Oduduwa Republic like KANU did for Biafra?

Why do you HYPOCRITES now narrow his struggle to the Yorubas alone?

Before Sowore, there was Gani Adams...Do you know the number of Yorubas who came out to defend and support Gani during his incarceration years ago?

Many of you lots are mere toddlers who come onto the social media to rant as a feel-good psychological reaction to your frustration with the Nigerian state.

Let it sink into your head that Sowore isn't fighting the Yoruba cause...He knew he would be arrested and gladly accepted his fate...He could have escaped and leave his comrades to face the music as some of your people tend to do..His lawyers are more than capable to meet the bail condition. So, stop disturbing us with meaningless monologues that don't add up..

How much have you contributed towards Adeyinka Grandson's (a Yoruba Supremacist) legal fees which he went to the internet to beg Yorubas for and yet ignored?

Tinubu ran away to sustain the cause. Gani Fawehinmi didn't run away...Adekunle Ajasin didn't run away during the June '12 struggle....Beko didn't run away...Gani Adams didn't run away...Abraham Adesanya didn't run away....Awolowo was given a condition for him to be released and he rejected it...Abiola was also granted a conditional bail which he rejected unlike your beloved people...

Meanwhile, Zik betrayed his Zikist Movement and denied the plot to launch a "REVOLUTION" in colonial Nigeria... Zik also betrayed Biafra by defecting to the Nigerian side when he was asked to travel to Europe to lobby for the Biafrans. It was the same Zik who rejected the secession clause at the first Constitutional Conference in London...He was the one who agreed to form alliance with the conservative North - he and Niger Delta leaders like Dappa Biriye, Melford Okilo, Edwin Clark, and Okotie Eboh... At the height of the war, Ojukwu ran away to hide in the Ivory Coast only to come back and join an Hausa-dominated party (NPN). Ojukwu was an errand boy for Abacha and he was sent to Europe on several occasions to lobby for the brutal regime...Ojukwu never lobbied for the full rank of his fellow Biafran soldiers to be restored, while he alone enjoyed such a privilege..... These are verifiable facts of history.

If your own definition of bravery is running away from a social struggle, then Yorubas are as guilty as you hypocrites would have us believe....But if not, then you Igbos are mere empty barrels making noise just for its sake due to your frustration with the Nigerian project (which we understand anyways).

Sowore didn't identify with the Yoruba cause and never saw himself as a Yoruba leader. He is an activist and the fact that his bail condition hasn't been perfected is the failure of the Civil Society which he purports to represent...

@bolded:
So it is okay to run away to sustain a cause? Ojukwu and Kanu did the same. Why the fuss?

Nnamdi Kanu was fighting strictly for the Igbos and PDP. So, it was easier for PDP politician of Igbo extraction to rally round him and sort out his bail.

Sowore on the other hand is a nationalist who is fighting for the common folks against the established political class. PDP hates him, APC hates him. So you see, there is nobody in the political class to support him because the political elites are united in persecuting him. Their fights and situations are different.
