Federal Minister of works and housing Babtunde Raji Fashola has urges Nigerians to stop being too religious rather than working. In his words he reveals Nigerians pray often and neglect working. He urges Nigerians to get work and stop praying all time.

Meanwhile some Nigerians have agreed to what the ministers said. What is your take on this ??

Praying and going to work are not exclusive of each other. Only a man who doesn't really believe in God will tell you to "stop praying and go to work", since praying does not prevent you from going to work and vice versa.

Praying and hard-working aren't mutually exclusive. Anyone who just prays and doesn't work is just lazy.

Religion makes people lazy n a nation less productive n more corrupt

The idea of expecting a helper has made many people lazy

This is refreshing!
After hearing a couple of governors deceive the masses by telling them to be prayerful, here comes a voice of reason telling them to work hard, so you don't blame the 'devil' for being a failure.

Typical Nigerians, they have divided them already, just small inspirational quote everyone is shouting nice, apt, kudos, fact blah blah blah...

Where is the work?... you have 25m unemployed graduates in a country, only God knows the percentage of underemployed... just yesterday, it was on front page a 31year old graduate was complaining of chest pain and rib shift from carrying cement after 5years of job search without result..

It's best if he had said we caution birth control so the limited available jobs with time can circulate as death rate naturally aligns with birth rate as practised during China population explosion, since its undeniable we have run out of ideas.

If Nigerians were lazy, we would have been rubbing mind with Syria and afganistan.. the religion he is talking about is vital, cause it renews hope weekly for the average Nigerian..

How does the prayer stop the work?
I would have expected him to say we should be having more factories and industries than religious centres.

Fashola, stop stealing all the time, remain some.

How many factories does your father have?Bob Marley best said it “Most foolish people think Great God will come from the sky, take away everything, and make everybody feel high, but if you know what life is worth, you would look for yours on earth, now we see the light.

If he had solved rocket science electricity when he was minister of power we surely will be working.

If he had finished the light railway we won't be spending 5 hours to get home every day.

If he was repairing our roads and building social housing maybe most of us would have been working.

If his boss was managing our economy properly most of us would be working surely.

If this government was creating a good environment for investors to invest we all would have been working.

How will the citizens work when the leaders are not working?

Wetin consign pikin wey dor eat belleful with Kitchen? Na to cross leg with carry remote control watch TV till he sleep.

Our government ain't doing anything, it citizens are really trying really hard to survive the hardship, fatherless children finds it hard to survive on campus, because no sponsor, but some choose to go the extra mile and graduate. Only few will understand this.

After 4+ years now, we never still get 247 light,

Meanwhile,

Only if you were working like you supposed to the federal roads across the federation will not be as bad as it is right now in the history of Nigeria. Congratulations Mr worker. You have gone from minister of darkness to minister of bad roads. I can see your “work” Ewu.
