December 12 2019 is Election date in the UK The House of Commons late on Tuesday evening with 438 votes in favour and 20 votes against backed Boris Johnson's motion for a pre Christmas election It is interesting considering that just a day earlier the same House of Commons rejected the idea of a December election by not being able to garner two thirds majority of the house. If agreed to by the House of Lords tomorrow, (which it is most likely to since it is not elected) this will be the first election in December in almost a hundred years.
