You sound like a white American. So if they are running genuin businesses here in Nigeria and paying their taxes, should we antagonize them just because they are not Nigerians? Do you even know how hard the government works to attract foreign investors?

You mean this exact family or the stereotypical Lebanese? If it's the later, I'd say we can't make decisions based on stereotypes. If this family is found guilty of anything, let them be persecuted according to their crime. If not, let them be and let us work hard to compete with them and thus provide more employment for our people. Isn't this what we tell South Africans whenever they come up with xenophobia?

They're Nigerians....shikena! We have wealthy Nigerians doing business in other countries where they have dual-citizenship, and using the proceeds to build mansions in Nigeria, so it cuts both ways! Or is it because of their colour?

Nigerians can be too envious and emotional sometimes!

Notice how Chagoury group never suffer from archaic tribalistic policies meant to frustrate their businesses.

Just imagine if Chagoury family were Igbos.

It really sucks to live in a country where a non indigene is given more opportunities and special policies to succeed while those who literally built the country and played an active role in its independence are marginalized.

See life. Many will just come here with beer parlour gossip of how Tinubu owns the whole of Lagos. Yet they wonder why EFCC will take their complaints serious.
This doesn't mean I'm holding brief for him, but we should always stick to facts, even in dealing with our enemies.

Thanks for the revelation, poster.

Imagine if it was Igbo name, this thread would be in 4th page by now, when the OP asked no black man in the board of directors, read the mod response, imagine if it was Igbo family and no Yoruba on the board imagine what would have been their response, same people justify when they force Yoruba leader in Igbo dominated markets, see how they are silent here grin the Eko Atlantic city funding 100% by same Chagoury Group, their first cutting edge building was acquired by Igbo man Afren Tower 1, it now been use by Slavic Petroleum as head office, Salvic is owned by ABC Orjiakor, chairman Seplat plc, he was the first occupant in the ATC.
