Maybe she failed to understand that in a state of panic or hysteria, people can do anything. She's complaining because people used buckets to fetch water to combat the fire. She doesn't know that under such situations, one can even use groundnut shells to fetch water. I know the government has failed by not providing enough fire engines readily available to fight fires. They're busy building edifices without making adequate provisions for such occurrences.

Perhaps if we had all these years and are still doing our duty as citizens to hold those in authority accoutable then she will have little to speak about a service that is effective, efficient and value for money.

If you cannot train your child at home then society is bound to do that but in ways you cannot control aka prison... do you get that.

Remember you are a nation seeking foreign investors, tourists, etc, with your President hoping to every available function at great expense. What is said abroad about us is important. And when foreigners look at us they are not just looking for roads, electricity, security, and the rule of law. They also look for a viable, virile citizenry who they can partner with.

The health of citizen advocacy is an important barometer to tell the future prosperity of a nation. Docile, ignorant, cowardly people have scant future.
