Activist Deji Adeyanju has reacted to the proposed attempt by the FG to censor social media usage in the country. The bill entitled, ‘'Protection from internet falsehood and manipulations bill, 2019'’ which is being sponsored by Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, passed the first reading on November 5th. (Read HERE ) Adeyanju in his reaction said, 'we reject the attempt to censor Social Media in Nigeria. This is a tyrannical Legislation'. He went on to say, 'We will mobilize Nigerians against the Anti Social Media Bill just reintroduced in the National Assembly. We killed it before & we must kill it once again. This is an assault on Freedom of Expression enshrined in section 39 of CFRN. The Anti Social Media Bill will affect everyone. It will take away our FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION including freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart ideas and information without government interference. We know that with Lawan & Gbaja, the Anti Social Media Bill is as good as passed but we as citizens must do our part. This is what Buhari always wanted to do since 2015. https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2019/11/we-reject-the-attempt-to-censor-social-media-in-nigeria-this-is-a-tyrannical-legislation-deji-adeyanju-2.html 1 Like 1 Share

This clueless govt has borrowed 8trn,claims to be fightin corruption yet has corrupt members as ministers, officials. And then give peanuts to janjanweeds to defend them on social media. Yet they want to silence us, God forbid Only thieves, lazy vagabounds, senile idiots and unrepentant dogs lacking decency in every regards supports a buhari regime run by illiterates and religious bigots that brought Boko Haram and steadily grew poverty while mortgaging the future generations into debt. 1 Like |

Deji should go and settle family's problems and quit barking like a castrated dog! The same person that kept begging the Kano state Government to release him, the same person that has refused to settle his current debts and resolved to using hard drugs... This man kept insulting Nnamdi Kanu just for cheap recognition and popularity, I don't take him serious. Yes, he's just a useful fulani cow! |
