If it doesn't have brake why is the stone placed behind the tire instead of the front, is the truck going to roll backwards on a slope.
Go bless u, that na hill and they don't the truck to roll back. Nigerian are sick honestly

actually this isn't new most trucks coming from North are like this..
you wonder if frsc are blind bats

You are very wrong on this....
A truck this loaded can't be come down with failed brakes or use of support.
It mainly affects intra-city trucks....
The truck in question looks more like a Lafarge cement truck meaning it departed from Ewekoro, Ogun state....

Also, most of the braking issues arise after loading up.

Not sick, but daft, including many that use the social media.
This stuff is quite common due to the slopes and heavy loads they carry, yet many dafts have believed the nincompoop that snapped and claimed it was due to absence of break.

It has brake.
Re: Moving Trailer Without Brake Spotted In Lagos Traffic. VIDEO by Baroba(m): 3:15pm On Nov 08, 2019
The truck definitely has a break, it's likely the handbreak is unable to hold the truck on a slope, hence the reason the young boy is providing the crude breaking system cheesy...Growing up in Enugu, it was quite common to see this on old 911 trucks when ascending hilly slopes..

This is the reason why we need MOT checks in Nigeria, most vehicles on our roads will be a write off if genuinely introduced..m

This information is wrong. The stone was not put in front of the vehicle but it was put behind to prevent it from moving backwards due to heavy load while the driver is engaging the gears to move the truck forward.

But the truck was obviously stopped before the stone was put at the back of the tyre. We just like to too dey react. The truck has brake and probably being prevented from rolling back, probably the area is sloppy.

Even if FRSC officials see this truck in this condition they will not arrest the driver rather the officials will disturb a very sound vehicle.

If u don't knw the difference between handbrake and normal brake of a truck u av to Google search, even if the handbrake is working that doesn't mean it is safe coz of the slope.

The brake still works, they were only using the stone because the hand brake is no longer working,so it wouldn't roll back..... And the hand brake only goes for 3k
