GRACE AS A ONE-WAY TICKET TO PARADISE.

Grace says even if we have sinned, we sin, and will sin, God will forgive us each time we ask for forgiveness in Jesus' name — Meaning the past, present, and future sins are forgiven after you believe in Christ and continue to believe in him. So easy and convenient...A one-way ticket to heaven I must say.

Ephesians 2:8-9
''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast''

WHEN GRACE BECOMES A ROLLER-COASTER TO HELL

The grace of God is so awesome that we can easily take it for granted by sinning with impunity and at first we may feel guilty and ask for forgiveness until it gets to a stage where we become so comfortable with sins and we begin to make excuses for ourselves for committing those sins.

And each time we sin, our fellowship with God breaks. It’s not His fault. It is our fault and it is up to us to correct the situation. The Presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives will help us understand that we have grieved him in words, thoughts, or actions, but GOD will not force us to again enter into fellowship with him cos it's up to us to find our way back to his fellowship. But because we have become comfortable in our sins, we may take it for granted and continue in our sinful ways until death and eventually end up in hell.

Romans 6: Verses 1 and 16
"Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? -Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living."

Lord Jesus, We pray this day that you give us the power to stand firm till death and never to take your grace for granted...AMEN!

Any gospel that undermines the indispensable role obedience/works/righteousness plays in man's salvation, encourages men to continue in sin.

So someone cannot sow "we are saved by grace, not by works" and expect not to reap a "shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?". Because the latter is an inevitable consequence of the former.

This was what Jesus sowed:

Matthew 16:27 (KJV)

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

John 5:29 (KJV)

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

This was what Jesus reaped:

The church in the book of Acts that didn't continue in sin, but was obedient to the Word of God.

So there was no need for a "shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?" because they knew very well from the onset that without works, there was no salvation for them and that sin would lead them straight to hell.

God bless.

Grace isn't to be gambled with.
Grace isn't a loophole in God's design of the universe. God's design was and is still perfect.

Interesting OP how you have shown two sides to "grace" if I can phrase it that way.
Grace that is afforded us based on Christ' death and resurrection power...so we live a life accordingly.
Yet the other side, which we tend to fall into...trampling on His grace because He is such a long-suffering God .
Perhaps it's safe to say that there's a "limit" to God's grace if we choose to continue to abuse it by living a rollercoaster life of sin...resting on the crutch of feeling that God will forever continually excuse that in our lives.

It's in the realization that our work is not sufficient that we crawl to Jesus to save us. Grace allows us to approach God through Jesus, where ever and whenever unlike in the temple system of the jews. And that's why there needs to be a balance and understanding of grace and work for we must not continue to sin because grace abounds, God forbid!
Psalms 49:8
[8]Redemption does not come so easily,
for no one can ever pay enough.

It is unfortunate that a brand of Christianity called Pentecostalism thinks that with Jesus's death you are automatically granted a visa to heaven and no matter how terribly you behave you can't lose your "salvation" and all you just have to do is accept Jesus as your personal lord and saviour.

Utter bullshit.

The grace of God is limitless! But some certain men had crept in, turning the grace of God into lasciviousness. below is what Jude has to say
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

You don't need to admonish people and yourself to sin....You are born a sinner ! Ps 51:5

The OP is talking to the redeemed, who are finding it difficult to overcome the works of the flesh, and hiding behind "Sufficient Grace" to continue sinning... Op is saying such mentality can lead them straight to HELL
