Akpabio is going no where. The NDDC must be reform by fire by force. Senator Manager and co should better roll up their trousers cos Akpabio has come to stay in the NDDC. Imagine Asari Dokubo vomiting rubbish that Akpabio is a traitor for exposing his people from the Niger Delta.

PDP is a party of hypocrites. If they agree with this judgement, they should have disagreed with the silly judgement that gave an illegal victory to Olujimi in Ekiti instead of ordering for a rerun.

The court of appeal should have a standard to follow as far as election petition is concerned. They cannot cancel the result of a local government in Ekiti as a result of violence and irregularities without ordering a rerun in the council while cancelling the result a local government council in Akwa Ibom for the same reason and ordering a rerun in the affected local government.

What is good for Akwa Ibom should be good for Ekiti. The judiciary should not promote double standard.

If the margin of votes with which one party is leading is higher than the cancelled votes, then there is no need for rerun. You need to have the exact facts to make a comparison.

Don't blame the party but the judiciary. Appeal court is a mess . If there are irregularities and the umpire voided the votes , so should it be
Why order a re run?
Same LG presidential results shows a total vote cast of 23000 . How did senatorial election held same time and date had over 90000 votes ? It's fraud and suppose to be cancelled and never a re run
This is a cash and carry judgement no doubt

Akpabio will lose nothing if he contested and loss. Buhari will give him a leave to contest the election as he did to Fayemi. If Akpabio lost, he will be called back to FEC. But it's for Akpabio to loss because the said council is his home and he is loved by his people.

You are not seeing the challenge here. If you are Akpabio, will you sacrifice being the Minister of Niger Delta to become a senator?
I think some people who are bent on removing Akpabio from being Minister of Niger Delta are behind this judgement.

These people were already in elected positions, you do not resign from a position you were elected into to contest another election. Resignation is only required for appointees. I don't know why some of you like to display ignorance though, these are clear principles of law yet because of some dumb APC affiliation y'all lose basic intelligence and research skills.

Some of you even tell outright lies like IamPatriotic did in this thread just to suit a convenient narrative. Is that what Buhari and co taught y'all to do? Na wa!
