INVESTMENT OPENING IN IGBETI MARBLE DEPOSITS

There's a lot to say about this, but let's stick to the investment potential part.

The Igbeti community is waiting and hoping on the Oyo state government to revamp this industry.

Meanwhile, the past administration kept promising and well, you know the rest of the story.

The current administration is waiting on investors from Botswana, who were present on their inauguration day.

But I am open those with the means out there will come in soon. Dangote is already exploring the deposits at Obajana, even though the use there has been limited to cement production mainly.

Among the key reasons I am clamoring for investors to come in is that the mining process currently adopted there is too strenuous (such that it's mainly the energetic Hausa boys doing the job) and wasteful (In the process of breaking it into bits, there are many quantities flying away as residue).
