It's a welcome development. Aristotle once said and I quote: ' A nation must be small enough to be able ensure efficiency and equitable distribution of wealth as well, to large enough in order to wade off any external aggression'

I wish it were true, and the government actually key into it. The major problem of Nigeria is our population and population growth. Imagine, more babies are born in Nigeria than all the babies born in Europe including Russia every year. Out unchecked population grown is responsible for most of our socio economic problems. Imagine, we are earning the same revenue though oil today when our population is around 200 million as we were earning in the early 70s when our population was less than 50 million, and you think poverty will not increase and cause socio economic problems?
