A Male nurse has taken delivery of a baby with its cord around the neck in a Keke Napep (tricycle) after an undisclosed hospital denied care of the mother in Lagos, praizenews report.

The male nurse, Edeaghe Jeremiah Oyakhilome swung into action after he heard the cry of people in the neighbourhood when a woman in a keke napep went into labour, he had to take delivery of the baby whose cord was round the neck single-handedly.

Thank God for using that super male nurse to perfect safe delivery of the baby. Thank God also that the mother is alive with no complication.

That hospital should be investigated and sanctioned. I know they will use all the grammar in the medical dictionary to exonerate themselves.

Story says; they were referred few days ago... To a hospital few kilometers away.
Plus, the hospital didn't have the capacity to manage such.

Nice one! Issue of life and death is no respecter of gender. If the woman belongs to the category of people who always say "A male doctor can never take my delivery" she will more thankful now that God had mercy on her sending a helper her way! Congratulations to her!
