Please Why Do Nigerian Men Look Down On Women Who Try To Raise Head On Programi by Nobody: 11:27pm On Nov 16, 2019
this is so so frustrating and is making me to look depressed, when i finished my NYSC i had no job for two to three years thou i am a makeup artiste, but the job was not giving me what i want, because it wasn't constant, i met a guy and asked him whether if he can help me teach me about website, fortunately he voluteered and decide to teach me,the first thing i learnt was on how to design a website using wordpress, then jombla, using css, html, then i was designing a website for people, organization, because i studied computer science in school, i always like developing myself with any new idea that i feel like i can learn, to cut it short i just need someone who will answer this question for me, is it a crime for one to be passionate about what he/she loves.

Maybe the women can learn how not to be bitter and how to spell so that they will not look down on them. Truth. It helps.
Also this complaint everywhere is beginning to look like a troll advert.

It's rare for one to see women doing programming.
In my past experiences, most girls just waste me time, they just wanna know what it contains and after that, they run as fast as they can, this same goes for many of my guys also.
But to be sincere I am culprit of this but if I notice the girl has been really doing it herself or she is the really serious type.
Meaning she has invested resources and against all my initial unseriousness she still kept coming, I will respect her and give her my time.

OP, stay/work with them long enough till they gain your respect. We are men, we judge people by their abilities after prejudging them on other aspects. I started a job in January where I was heavily disrespected but as at last month when I learned the ropes and did things better than many oldies they started looking up to me.

Perhaps getting formal education and certification in programming might work better?

Just guessing.

The day you stop caring how people think about you that is when you can develop your self better. I am also trying to learn programming I didn't find anyone to tutor me so I had to start tutoring myself. I didn't study computer science in sch but I believe I can teach myself and b better. Try personal development and it won't disappoint u. But depending on someone to teach you will surely disappoint u.

What I devise was I will give you an assignment if you can solve it, then you are willing, but if you come back complaining. I guess you are not the learning type, because most programmer I know just have initiative and willingness to learn no matter how small it is.

what is the assignment
It depends on who and the personality of whom I am dealing with.
But the aim is to see if the individual is gonna be a self starter, so we can always meet in the middle.

Because women are hardly interested in it they want quick results which is impossible when learning languages like c++ or c. I've seen this attribute amongst many women. And let me use this medium to end a useless notion amongst people. NOT ALL COMPUTER SCIENTISTS ARE PROGRAMMERS AND NOT ALL PROGRAMMERS ARE COMPUTER SCIENTISTS.
