These are all beside the point. A party Presidential Candidate must know which States are critical to victories and expend resource and time to show presence and influence. This is how Jagaban got to where he is now....he has never been Presidential Candidate of any party but never under-estimated his opponents or trusted his victories to local candidates. He got up and made the trip, showed up and gave support. Even in elections he lost...his credibility as an asset was never doubted. He lost his candidacy in Ondo to Akeredolu but when Akeredolu got in trouble guess who he went to call...Tinubu! Because he knew no one can sell him for a re-election like Tinubu.

By coming to Kogi and Bayelsa, Atiku and Obi will start to build resume of accomplishments and lessons learnt towards 2023.

That's how PDP do business. Everyman for himself. In Atiku and Obi, the PDP even has it worse than usual in that both are political prostitutes who never really identify with Nigerian Political Parties let alone feel loyalty for any. They are ready to jump ship anytime and only join Political Parties as a means to an end i.e gaining office. This is why Tinubu remains the master of them all.

Atiku and Obi's involvement and interaction with the PDP ended with the supreme Court judgement that sounded the death knell on their 2019 adventure. Depending on what PDP does, we may see/hear from Atiku and Obi circa the time of the PDP Primaries in 2022. Don't expect either to lead PDP from the front because that is not what both men are about. Atiku is probably looking for another Party to decamp to as we speak.
