When considering a postgraduate degree there are notable differences between studying at an undergraduate level and what is expected at the postgraduate level. The main difference between undergraduate and postgraduate studies is essentially the increased focus and specialisation that a postgraduate course will have on a specific subject or field of study. One more basic difference: in a postgraduate program, you will have more freedom in academic writing and professors look at you more like at peers, not just students. Whereas in a bachelor’s program, lecturers usually give you the basic texts, project check-ins and mandatory books and resources to study. A postgraduate work is harder, of course, for me it was for sure, because I had to complete 20+ basic tasks and write my essay publications and linguistic journal entries.
