Have heard that JAMB subtracts marks for wrong answers. What do you think

Wrong thread,these suppose to be in education section but any way it happen,i have a bro who for the first time he check his result,he got 221 bt later thesame day,he saw 188.

JAMB does not do a thing like that, the point is the answers are so similar that you cant guesswork and pass and the question is A level and not O level and that the reason why people fail the exams most,

I think they do deduct mark.This because apart 4rm english lang which 100quest. Others are 50quests multiplied by 2,I still wonder why som1 gets odd nos mark in d 50questions part

Jamb deducts 1/2mark for every question answered wrongly. that's why you get odd numbers like 51 in a subject.

You mustn't answer all questions before passing jamb, just answer those you're 99.9% sure of and leave the rest because if you guess, you might end up scoring below 200. That's just it!.

That a lie, I remember when the former JAMB registrar was interview, Prof Salem, he said JAMB does not deduct make but the answers are similar, dont mislead people with you guessing guys,, better you say you are ot sure than say things you dont know authoritatively, Una no book ooooooooooooo

Jamb should not decide for the whole Nigerians who should and should not go to university.
