I hear the UK created a platform to make it easier for Nigerian nurses to relocate to the UK, but the Nursing Council in Nigeria is frustrating everything. It’s so funny . UK wants to grab but Nigeria is fighting to keep them. I hear ni o. Nothing confirmed
It cost Nigeria millions of Naira to train one single Medical Doctor or Nurse, which is a huge credit to us. Where the problem lies is why majority of these Doctors and Nurses would want to leave the country and relocate to another country at the slightest opportunity.
Nigeria needs to do better to retain our talents. If your only argument is patriotism, sorry, that will not work. Not many people will see 'juicy' offers in the UK, Canada or Saudi and stay in Nigeria. Credit; ogbenidipo

I can talk about Nurses wanting to leave. Who won't want to enjoy the independence nurses enjoy here in the US. With all the different specialties including the APRNs and others. Then coming to pay package what a nurse of 20 years of practice earnnin a year is what a registered nurse earn in in 2 weeks do it's incomparable.

This useless Country doesn't deserve it's hardworking and well educated professionals. Life is hell in this shit hole. Any one who wants to and can immigrate should do so. The developed nations will gain and it'll create opportunities left behind for those in this overpopulated country. The less the population, the easier it is to manage and distribute resources.

the important question should be: why should they stay in Nigeria?!
these people should go wherever they believe is best for their (family's) future.
