Amaechi: Order To Demolish Buildings Around New Power Line Is For Safety Purpose by nwekeugochukwu: 5:51pm On Nov 23, 2019 |
IgbereTV reports that the minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi has said the reason he has issued order for demolition of building around the power lines is for safety. He made this known on Twitter. He wrote: Safety of people around rail lines across the country is important to us. This is why I have directed that buildings encroaching on the rail perimeter at Km 8.9 Ilupeju, Mushin area of the Lagos-Ibadan route be bought off, demolished & fenced out. We need space for the power line https://twitter.com/ChibuikeAmaechi/status/1198248916980027393?s=19 http://igberetvnews.com/1157840/rotimi-amaechi-demolish-buildings-around-new-power-line-safety-reasons/
