Its Poetry and we all are poets
Situations condition our minds to think like greats
we assume to know it all and so we create
Parodies of words entwined with pain and hate

We observe as our feelings dissipate like smoke
We trudge on slumbering while trying to stay woke
falter and get trodden as that is the life we live in
the country our fore fathers envisaged now caved in

Everybody prays for better days
Some pray for hope to flow just like the rays
the sun shines on us but seem scorching and far fetched
we persevere in numbers as faith in us is entrenched

the better days we seek lie far ahead
if only the bull is horned or even has a head
we shall prosper despite the negativity
we have see worse yet in us are lots of positive activity

A VENTED HEART!

Our woes from our circumstances,
Our Circumstances, Our failures
Our failure not to Overcome,
To Overcome with a suitable approach.


Yet we live,
We live, We learn,
We learn, We acquire knowledge,
Knowledge to apply,
Applied to our circumstances, Yet it fails.


Though sometimes,
Our Approach seems to end our Reproach ;
Our Reproach, temporarily.
Temporarily, hence our woes continues.


Oh! What a pervert life do we live,
Live to learn,
Learn and acquire a pervert knowledge,
A pervert knowledge to apply,
To apply to our Circumstances.


Thus, will we go to our God,
Our Father, The Creator of all Light,
He who shines forever without shadow or change.
And he will direct us in the Path of Wisdom.

Ebbing flows through the night
night so pale filled with flies
flies so bright and full of life
life terminated by the swords of dawn
Dawn, a cornucopia of endless hope ...

EMPTY DRUM

Oh empty drum
Drumming endless noise
Noise with no action
Action that only is demonstrated by fullness
Fullness so hard to come by
By fullness alone shall you be significant oh
Oh empty drum stop now the noise

The Last Cry

Papa is gone
Gone to a distantly unknown land
Land of no return
Return to succour weak heart
Heart to be so strong in this trying times
Times ahead of you that only determination can deter
Deter for greatness
Greatness that laughs and not cry
Cry,yes let this be the last,the last cry

Awake

From a distant rises smoke
Smoke that is never without fire
Fire that razes with no mercy
Mercy for all your labour
Labour you now despise through sleep
Sleep taking all glory from you except you awake
Awake now for the enemy draw near
