My Thoughts On Long Term Relationship by Ladycewhy(f): 12:07am On Nov 26, 2019
Ever wondered why over time you no longer feel the need to do certain things you used to do at the beginning of a relationship? You get used to each other. Many long term relationships end up badly or even with one party being silently replaced while this can happen to either gender i will like to stress on the effect this will have on a woman. Naturally women have a biological clock and should be very cautious of long term relationships and time wasters.

The longer a relationship ,the more you get comfortable with each other, get used to each other and become like a typical old boring couple with no spark in your relationship with this the relationship is less likely to proceed to the next level of commitment and marriage.

Many ladies have been gaslighted with "our wife" talk that they become relaxed and assured even when there is no proper commitment in place. A lady said the mother of her ex was calling all his numerous other girlfriends he brought home "our wife" this means even tho a guy has introduced you to all his ancestors its not a guarantee if he doesn't do the needful.

Some guys will tell you i am still studying her,lol for half a decade? Na course?

Some will even tell you "baby don't let anyone pressure you to marry someone you don't love ".

Some will use finance as an excuse where as someone earning less than him is married o,lol

The man finds a woman, when a woman gets to a certain age,the number of men looking her way will reduce,so it is important to make hay while the sun shines ladies ,stop wasting your time in a relationship, stop assuming because you know all his ancestors that is a guarantee he will marry you. Personally maximum of two year is enough to study a person atleast that is how long it takes to acquire an OND .lol

Also lets not also forget the "lord of the rings" actors who will engage a lady for a decade ,lol for some reason there is never a good date to fix for a wedding, that is how one aunty turned to ring bearer because of engagement.

Feel free to add a time wasting line guys normally use.

I don forget the name of the two oyinbos who were in courtship for 15 years only to mutually agree to leave the relationship based on not being compatible, I wonder what they were thinking.

Sis... one thing first you’ve got to understand is this, long distance relationship isn’t meant for everyone, you have to be ready for unnecessary misunderstandings, lost of emotions also along the line... wasting a woman’s precious time is not attributed to men alone. Many of this women too don’t really know what they want in a relationship. How can a fully grown up lady at her time to settle down will be in a relationship with two to three different men in a date? And by the time to settle down comes, she will be confused on whom to settle down with. Spending 0-20 years in a relationship is not a guarantee you guys will end up spending your life’s together.
Regards,

Mr. Sucsex

The OP said long term relationship, not long distance relationship.

Just the usual NL meddling in other people's business.

i said long term not long distance. No woman will be confused on who to settle down with , where did that one happen? She will likely go for the one who is ready not the one who always uses "i will" , "i will soon" but never makes a move.

The OP said nothing about his/her post involving marriage or a family. S/he mentioned premarital relationships.

There really are too many of you monitoring people's marriages, it consumes your whole life.

Even religion was not part of the opening post but OP brought a totally off topic religious analogy later.

i included it in my reasons cos in the end ,when he is ready he might decided to go for a much younger lady after wasting your own time. Most times that is when they will know that fair ladies is their spec and you are too dark and short ,lol

So in one word, a woman must do everything to get married even if it is dumping a man after he hasnt proposed some hours into the relationship?

Dont use the biological clock to pressure women into getting into the hands of a wrong man, it is better to marry late and right than to marry early and wrong

By the way, it is not only for women to marry early, a man that has just started giving birth at 40 years wil have himself to blame when he is looking for waec registration fees at 55 when his mates are attending convocation of their kids

this is similar to the "dont let anyone pressure you to marry who you dont love " Line, guess what people have claimed to be madly inlove and the marriage hit the rock, sadly love is not a strong criteria for a lasting marriage, understanding, patience, communication, compromise, tolerance among other things take the front seat.

Men usually have no issues with taking their kids to nursery school in a Walking stick.

Any lady that has clocked 24 and above and who is ready to settle down, doesn't need up to 2yrs courtship. Men/guys will do anything to deceive her that he is not yet ready, even though he keeps having s.ex with her, he wouldn't allow other guys to come near her and yet he would dump her at end of the day in her 30s. Any guy who truly in love with a lady, don't need 2 years and above to walk her to isle.

Some ladies in their late 20s will be going out with a man who has no means of income claiming l love him, where you want me to start from? How will such man take marital responsibilities? Yet you don't want long term relationship.

I always pity girls who put themselves in bondages of relationships. The eyes normally open and brain now reset at age 32.....clock can never reverse.........

Two years ke, if a guy cannot make up his mind in a year, i bounce. It doesn't take a man a long time to make a decision with the woman of his dreams. If he is taking more than a year, question his leadership skills and decision taking qualities.

well two years is my own personal opinion.

I agree with you that it doesnt take a man too long to know if a woman is his type for a wife or not, many guys have gotten married to a woman they met under 5 months and the marriage is still intact.

There is the popular line of "lets see how it goes".

This way there is no ground for holding them to their words ,after all nothing was promised and nothing was assured .

That is how time will fly by and will not see the going cos you are still seeing how it goes, lol
