Dear Uchechukwu Jude,

We appreciate your interest in using your PayPal account to receive money and payments. Of the 203 countries where we are available, some countries including Nigeria are still unable to use certain features such as receiving money. We are working to make this feature available in the future.

This service limitation is because of the laws and financial regulations of each country. Before we begin to offer certain services in various countries, we must be sure that we are fully compliant with local and international financial laws to avoid difficulties in the future with our services. Rest assured that we’re constantly working to offer more services in all countries that use PayPal.

We’ll be sure to notify you once additional services and features are available in your country. In the meantime, we would advise contacting the buyer to explore other payment options that are available to you, such as checks and money orders.

To view the services available in your country, go to the PayPal website, click the flag at the bottom of the page, and then click 'See all countries.' In the drop down menu, select your country to see what services we offer.

We appreciate your understanding on this matter.

Sincerely,

Katherine

I think the government is not doing enough, so much money is moved out of Nigeria, but we can't receive. it's a pain.
