This is good only if Atiku can win Jonathan in the primaries. Then Atiku will face other candidates in the opposition and lose gallantly. Nigeria will overcome the monster called PDP and the nation will face the right direction. I only pray.

If this is true, then it is a good development.
The North have to wait for another 4 years to try their luck again.

We may have to wait for a formal declaration by the Ciroma Committee. there have been two many unconfirmed reports flying all over the place.

First it IBB, now Atiku?

Either way, there is no question of the north putting it's best foot forward; the two feet are rotten. With Atiku and IBB, the north stands no chance of producing the next president.

Re: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by SalisuOri: 4:43pm On Nov 22, 2010
Atiku?! the guy can't barely step into the U.S because of his recent money laundering activities. How will be represent the north!?, anyways, lets wait till full reports come in as the Reuters article said that Atiku's guy announced it rather than the committee, and there's been reports of all four clinching it.

Please make no mistakes, there are hundreds of politicians that are worse than IBB out there. Even if IBB drops dead  today, it does not mean there will be 24 hour electricity withinh the next 24 months.

Great news, I pray he wins at the primaries so Nigerians can be rid of People Deceiving People. It's mistake that makes the goat to climb its own mother.

Re: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by SirMethod: 5:06pm On Nov 22, 2010
The only way that PDP would hold on to power is to let Bro Jo go on. If Atiku wins the primaries, Bro Jo wld decamp and join another party. With His power of incumbency, the presidency wld be retained by Him and that means power loss by PDP. They should be wise now!
Re: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by Boboribo: 5:10pm On Nov 22, 2010
Now that IBB is out, let's start fabricating something to knock Atiku out.  First stop Ota, then EFCC office.  Now what? grin

Re: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by dejiavu(m): 5:28pm On Nov 22, 2010
Ciroma and co certainly got it wrong if truely it is Atiku. Atiku can not push any say in "Pin-Di-Pin"  any more. Obj will be very happy. Infact he'll tell GEJ not to campaign any more
Re: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by pingu2k5(m): 5:35pm On Nov 22, 2010
Any which way, it's still going to the North except Jonathan beats Atiku at the primaries, which I don't think it's likely
