Do you know that it's not just ordinary mediatek like helio p22 but g90t which beat the SD 730 talk more of SD 675
The sd675 on the a70 is close to the 665 on the rn8 which is half the price
Samsung is the best but I don't know if their midrange wants to turn to transsion that will give low chipset with high rom, ram and camera megapixels so that they will attract people

Other than the amoled (which will be very expensive to fix if broken) and brand name the redmi note 8 beats the galaxy a70 in every aspect and it's about 25k cheaper
I refused to be robbed by Samsung
But their flagship remains the beast......

The SD 675 in the A70 isn't half as strong as the SD 730 in the Mi 9T.. the latter is comparable to last year's flagship SD845.
The Redmi note 8 screen is not cheap in any way, it supports HDR10 and wide vine certification, and doesn't have the multiple touch rejection issues that plauged the A70's amoled screen( look this up if you don't believe) during gaming eg pubg

The note8 has a better camera and software algorithm, takes better portraits.. much better in night time photography...instead of arguing blindly cos you see Samsung as the greatest do research. I wanted to buy the A70 before.. but a low quality 8mp output cam for 117k.. lai lai. Samsung puts no effort into camera performance if you aren't buying a flagship from them. Simple truth.

Btw. Used an S7 Edge and S8 plus before moving to the Mi 9T.. best decision I made

Exactly... Exynos isn't great.. overheating issues.. check out the tale of S9 and S9 plus users with international variants utilizing exynos 9610... Even the 8890 ran hotter than SD's offerings.

Samsung doesn't put effort into its midrange portfolio..
