A couple of Months Ago, Innoson unveiled an Addition to their Pick up Series with the introduction of the New Innoson IVM Granite.
Taking a closer look at the release it is obvious Innoson got it right with this. Luxury and Delivery.
The beast has all the trappings of a modern Pick Up comparable to the Best Toyota or Ford would offer..
We shouldn't cease the call for encouragement from all quarters, lets make Innoson a true Pride of Nigeria and Africa.

The Carrier is also equipped with dual airbags, features power controlled seat-belts and a sedan style interior. It was designed to provide the highest degree of space and comfort. A high performance air conditioning system, more so the interior equipment of the vehicle is easy to use and can be adapted according to the passengers’ needs.
It comes with the 4G69S4N (2.4L) gasoline engine which is technically mature and powerful with features such as high reliability, low fuel consumption and low emission, and carries an electronic immobilizer system which enhances vehicle security.

I think the latest Toyota Tacoma has a drum brake option in the 2019 model year.

am not saying rear drums is bad, it's a cheap alternative and a relatively wise choice at that

It's seriously underpowered. That thing probably weighs more than 4500lbs.

It's a much bigger truck. Look at the dimensions and compare with the said hilux. Except this is made with light weight materials which I strongly doubt, cheesy

it's definitely going to weigh more than the hilux.

Edit: I can't even find anything outside what is posted here about the vehicle. Was hoping to find info on the weight. Looks like the OP just transcribed another video. cheesy

So let's assume it heavier than the hilux by a few lbs
And the hilux has a miserly 24hp more

In real life use case.. How much more weight can the hilux carry which this guy cannot?

Does the "extra" weight & 24hp less qualifies this as (in your word) "seriously underpowered" while the hilux - adequately powered?

For what it's worth, I don't think the hilux is adequately powered. They are both underpowered but I consider the hilux better due to its "less weight" and of course, more horses.

Personally, I will not look at any truck with anything below 8cyls under the hood.

That's over 5000lbs for the Granite. To think the average v8 powered Tundra weighs only about 600lbs more.

You are comparing a single cabin 1999 hilux weight against a double cabin 2019 Granite grin
