Following the recent declaration by High Court in Kano state that the creation of four new emirates in the state was done in contravention of constitutional provisions, the state executive council has reactivated its bid to create the emirates and their first class emirs.

A press statement just received by judicialsketch.com from the office of the state commissioner for information said “Kano state Executive Council has approved Emirate Council Bill 2019 which provides for the establishment of additional Emirates in the state.
