Why do Nigerians tolerate the growing media denial of Nigeria the nation except in matters of Crime when Nigeria and Nigerians become Nigeria? In matters of heritage, the media redacts Nigeria with the term West Africa.

I detest the tourism industry in Africa. However, as fossil fuel grows ever more redundant, for the relevant reasons, Tourism could help plug some of the resultant shortfalls in Nigeria’s earnings. Kenya, Tanzania and indeed majority of East African nations have cornered the Tourism market in wilderness and natural scenic beauty. What would be Nigeria’s unique Tourist attracting selling points if Nigerians continue to adopt this Laissez-faire attitude to the haemorrhaging of culture ownership? Culture, arts and festivals could be Nigeria's Tourism selling points. Nigerians need to tie down cultures of Nigerian or predominantly Nigeria origin to Nigeria not West Africa or Africa.
