Ganduje will leave one day. It is foolish to make enemies when you are at the top, especially the ones that will remain there after you have come down.

Interesting statement from the State Government agency.
4.5 million naira is far less than the number of square metres of land that the State Government demolished and acquired.

Asking for account number? I believe that the emir and indeed all the emirates in Kano are paid salaries from the state government. It then follows that these monies are deposited into the accounts of each emir. By logic, we would be right to believe that the account details of the emir are already in the possession of Kano ministry of finance or local government and chieftaincy affairs. So why this unnecessary and half witted appeal to public sympathies?

This rift is definitely getting dirty

Sanusi caused all this. Emir should dabble into politics with tact not necessarily taking sides with the right or the wrong. At all times, he should align with the winner while seen as of the people.

He has given Ganduje a chance to prove that Emir is after all a glorified small boy

When he was forcing the inevitable sack of bankers, I said he was surely going to get his own.

Less 250m. At least that's 250 average salaries per annum.

More to come. You make people cry, die and kill themselves and you want to go home and sleep in peace? Or even the beheading you orchestrated? You never see anything.

Next. Buhari and ElRufai

... and Ganduje is who

Well, his four years is already reading right now.

And after the game, he will definitely meet Sanusi at his emirate.

We watch, and we learn from History

A Gov and an Emir are not mates. You should have known....no matter how small a god is , its faithfuls carry it with two hands, not one.

Ganduje has created four Emirates and Sanusi is not his Emir

I read estate management. This is the power of Eminent Domain. It is enshrined in the Land Use Act.

EMINENT DOMAIN
"The right of a government or its agent to expropriate private property for public use, with payment of compensation. In the UK it is used chiefly of international law, whereas in the US it is used of federal and state governments.''

I don't think the Emir dabbled into politics. He actually did far worse by being blunt and saying the truth.

How dare the Emir condemn some of the projects in the transport sector were a waste of money. What audacity!

How dare he lambasts the Buhari administration, that its economic policies were bad and that it fuels corruption. What audacity!

His grandfather was deposed because he was a straight talker and talked too much at that. His grandson has said he can never be a politician. That he does not know how to tell people what they want to hear.

He should learn to keep his mouth shut or open it and kiss a**e.

The emirate account number is different from Sanusi private account number..... Since d property is for Sanusi and not d emirate as a whole. Therefore d money will be paid into Sanusi account

You can.

Government is powerful.

The British burnt down the Oba's palace and exiled him, what happened?

At least, the British were even nice. If it were the French (they are republican), they would have wiped out the entire lineage of the Oba. Today, there would have been no Oba.

The government is all powerful when they decide to use the power.

Abacha removed the Sultan of Sokoto and nothing happened.

These kings depend on government to even finance their lifestyle.

SLS is not complaining so you guys should not cry for him.

SLS is not like your regular Emirs who are puppets, he is an educated professional and Board Member of Big Companies so he will say the truth as it is.

Sanusi says it as it is. cheesy cheesy.

But seriously I'm shocked that this thing could happen to someone as powerful as Sanusi.

Don't be.

Only the Sultan of Sokoto I think has the kind of influence you feel Sanusi should have. All the Fulani emirs, if I'm correct, are under him. It was previously a Caliph but the title was whittled down to sultan, most likely by the British.

Even the sultan, if he "crosses his boundary'', he will be dealt with by the Sokoto governor.
