CBN, FIRS, NDIC, NNPC, are where IPPIS should have started
You can add the politicians salaries and emoluments to that.
Asked why CBN, FIRS, NDIC, NNPC, are exempted from IPPIS enrollment they start giving watery excuses. The unspoken fact is that those are the main institutions that have historically aided high level corruption in the executive in Nigeria. Does it make sense that the same institutions involving high level revenue generation should be excluded from the transparency and accountability the government is paying lip service to? Nigerians should know first and foremost how money moves around in these institutions. Instead the government is trying to divert attention to low-earning civil servants in the University sector.

If there is no urgency in capturing CBN, FIRS, NDIC, NNPC, in IPPIS (which the government doesn't ever intend to implement because these institutions have been turned to personal banks by the politicians) why should there be urgency in capturing University lecturers?

What is the percentage of lecturers that enrolled?
It is plain mischief and deliberate misinformation for the government to say lecturers are sneaking to enroll and to go ahead to inform the public that 937,000 individuals have enrolled. The government should tell us what is the break down of the number? And how many lecturers enrolled? In percentage. With more than 98% of lecturers in a school refusing to enroll, this initiative is dead on arrival.

Hypocrisy: President Buhari patronizes foreign universities for his children
This country belongs to all of us, and no body can use his office to destroy the lives of others. The same President Buhari that refused to send his daughter to a Nigerian university is the same one that is trying to complete the destruction of the university system that government's history of non-funding began. The President has lost the moral right to claim that he wants to improve anything in Nigeria the moment he started patronizing foreign universities for his children and foreign medical care to the detriment of Nigerian academic and health system.
