DBR: Abeg it's kinda true man . . . Modenine by his words/actions implied most of what the funny voice was saying. I can't remember exact quotes but Modenine has changed from what he started with, I'm not saying it's bad, just saying if anyone had a right to joke with it, it's Ruggedman. Damn another Modenine reference on Walk Way. BTW, I listened to this album and M.I 2 doen't sound like a club album anymore. |

M.I has a message, he can code it up in bars like 'she said she don't wanna be a statistic' or just do 'whether na One Naira' and get it across to everyone and do a mixtape full of 1-2-3 Hiphops for people like you and I. Kinda like Jay-Z doing a Blueprint III and then doing a 'Reminder' and 'Power Remix'. He's a storyteller disguised as an artist and it will be criminal not to get his message across in a way my mum will relate to. |

I know Ruggedman's album is prolly good, but it's not my kind of thing . . . M.I changed mainstream hiphop from Baraje and Ruggedy is kinda stuck in that time, even D'banj has moved on from the 'shake your booty'style. Funniest line I've heard all month . . . slimshay: Exactly. . . it's much more than the sales, it's the fact that about 100,000 people started checking for wordplay and still got to talking about Jos and his emotions. It's a personal victory. . . besides I think changing your direction is the most important part of being an artiste, that's why Modenine lasted this long . . . even if DBR won't admit it. |

@ Whiz i nor need new ear fone. .u need to read properly. .i neva said it's not funny. .f'course it is Sm1 said its a shot at Mode. .to which i said its off point. .cos all the points didnt fit. .and i listed the jabs on the skit and how it didnt connect to M9. .if u say its for other artist, thats a different thing. "Heartbreak". .was feelin it b4 the chorus came in. .jezzz. . the pith and texture was so off. .that hook was a spoiler!! the bridge was softer and better tho. .Samklef shudda done that hook for Heartbreak, wuldda been a better fit. Beat on "because of u" is madddttt. . .m.i insane wit it. .RM came thru. . Ruggedy got flow tho. .and yea i noticed some multi isshhh!
